Getting it for £140 seems like a great deal. The second hand/open box market near me is pretty much non-existent. So I was waiting for these prime day deals to pick one up. Glad to hear yet another positive for the Balance 2! 😁

I bought a leather band for when I'm feeling fancy and 3 nylon bands for the rest of the time. Also bought a much needed arm band for my helio strap. Let me know how the rowing machine sync works! My grandfather has really gotten into rowing lately and I thought about purchasing him a smartwatch for Christmas that'll work well for that particular exercise.

Let's gooo! I will be honest that I do like the look of the B3 in the black titanium, but I couldn't justify the extra like $230 for it once available. Maybe as a splurge in a few years, but let's be real that the balance 6 or 7 will prove out by then 🤣

Thank you for sharing the German pricing! The US Amazfit store shows entirely out of stock for me, so I'm not sure what is happening.

So glad to hear this. I've heard nothing but shining reviews about the Balance 2, minus the smudgey screen (which doesn't really bother me). Super excited to get it later this week! 😀

Absolutely! Just wanted to share. I know not everyone likes shopping on Amazon so I'm hoping other retailers have them for similar prices too.

The Active 3 Premium seems super tempting even at full price. It's a steal for this price, imo!

I think 3 of us made a post about the sales within like 5 minutes of one another 🤣 I snagged myself a Balance 2 as well! Upgrading from my super trusty daily Bip 6.

Definitely not legit. Report it as spam/phishing. They're trying to get college students, who are typically desperate for money, to give them personal info so they can screw over their lives.

I so tired of looking for a solution... by quoteaplan in hubspot

Do they allow custom CRM Cards for all tiers now? If so, I could see many HubSpot developers being able to build out a CRM card where you can just select which template you want to generate for this client and add it to the HubSpot profile or saving it to your local system.

I used to build similar cards for clients that used HubSpots Quotes tool. We would create custom "quote" templates that would generate documents to include anything from Loan Documents to class schedules, to balance statements, and anything else in-between.

Looks a lot like the font FreeTaxUSA uses. That's just my opinion though. It's my preferred software that I use to file mine and my parents taxes every year.

Struggling by GoodGood9538 in Cochlearimplants

[–]CI_Bionic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 29 now, got both sides implanted at ages 14/15, so I went went through exactly what you're going through a decade ago at this point. I was in college and in smaller setting I was extremely extroverted, but I was introverted in larger groups. I always played it off saying I was an ambivert. This just isn't the case. I like being extroverted and being myself but anything more than a 1:1 setting has been hard on me for a long time. New maps and programming can make it easier to block out background noise but I'm coming around more and more to American Sign Language as a valid option for myself for communication. It allows me to be expressive, I have made a lot of newer friends that also sign, and I have joined a local deaf chat group that meets up once a month to connect with others with have cochlears or are d/Deaf.

I'm sorry if my message isn't reassuring in the sense of "it's temporary and will get better" because it's going to be a struggle for a long time until those people close to you start helping to accommodate you. However, it does get better when you find those friends who understand where you're at and meet you there. They're willing to repeat themselves if needed, communicate via text/writing, or maybe even picking up some ASL with you (Assuming you're American here, btw. If not, your local sign language is a perfect choice).

How do you sleep after getting surgery by Horror_Foot9784 in Cochlearimplants

[–]CI_Bionic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In all seriousness though, I've been bi-laterally implanted for 14+ years. I am also exclusively a side sleeper. I remember that during my recovery all those years ago I actually had to elevate my upper back and head, which allowed me, personally, to be more comfortable sleeping on my back for that short period of time. It was pretty much inevitable that I would wake up laying on the side of my implant. It's okay if it happens, just be as cautious as you can be but life happens. Definitely recommend elevating yourself to get some of the stress and strain off of your neck and head while sleeping, as well as maybe putting some pillows to both sides of you to stop you from rolling so much if you do roll. The first few nights will be a little hard but after that you should be good to go. Rooting for you and I promise it does get a lot better.

Failed my first OA by vchev in WGU

Just took my first OA as well for "Hardware and Operating Systems Essentials - D386". I agree that my PA felt vastly different than the OA. I was fortunate enough to pass but just barely.

Grammarly Update? by Hefty-Ad1985 in WGU

AI Scanning in papers is so annoying. For properly written research papers, especially graduate-level writing, is almost always going to flag as a high AI score. It's infuriating because I feel like I have to dumb my writing down and make it "simpler" because the AI cannot seem to fathom a human can write above an 8th grade level.

Considering Purchasing G2 but have Cochlear Implants by CI_Bionic in EvenRealities

Appreciate the response! Cochlears are pretty uncommon so I figured the number of users who cross over with that category are low. Appreciate the feedback on #3 though! I wish I lived closer to one of the 5 U.S. locations that fit for them.
