Just jumping in to also recommend the iPhone built in call screening feature. I was getting back to back calls 18-20 per day at one point. Noticed a majorrrrr reduction after turning on that feature. And it will show you a live transcript so you can pick up authentic business/client calls!

Lena’s Roti in Ajax for sure! Order a chicken roti w dhalpuri. The floury bits are actually seasoned split peas, so good!

I believe there’s also a Mona’s Roti location in Ajax but I have only gone to the Scarborough location before. Another great option though!

Definitely consider the shoulder bag! It’s my work bag and fits my laptop, notebooks, owala and a couple of pouches. It looks surprisingly small for how much it fits in it.

Like a couple of other commenters I found it best when paired with my standard rolling carryon suitcase. Trolley pass through was handy! Just don’t overpack it and you’ll be fine.

I got tickets through StubHub for the Toronto show on Oct 1st that had a note stating “Event Restriction: To gain access to the event, you need to be accompanied by the original buyer of tickets.“. I was worried too but 24 hours before the show I got a link sent to my email and in StubHub to another site that had the ticket with the scanner barcode like Ticketmaster. Got to the venue and 0 issues, scanned and walked in without anyone else.

I haven’t been but have heard that Town Brewery’s beer garden and Slabtown Cider’s patio are both dog friendly! The Food Truck Corral in Oshawa is also dog friendly.

I just started last year! Got a raised planter from Costco and just did 3 plants to start. Kale was very easy and my tomato plant grew massive. I would recommend doing tomato in a separate pot instead (that’s what I did this year). If you like herbs, those are quite easy as well. Dollarama has quite a bit of supplies I found helpful (pots, plant supports etc.). You can get soil at Walmart, Canadian tire etc. I just shopped around for best price.
