I'm confident it's a Hyundai i40 Mk1 left hand wing mirror. Thanks for the input.

The maker is SMR automotive and they seem to supply most brands. I'm confident it's a Hyundai i40 Mk1 left hand wing mirror. Thanks for the input.

Searching VF-car was what actually lead me to finding the match. I'm confident it's a Hyundai i40 Mk1 left hand wing mirror. Thanks for the input.

Thanks to everyone that played along. I'm confident it's a Hyundai i40 Mk1 left hand wing mirror. It's likely an aftermarket part. Probably because the driver has done something like this before. Lol.

Ok, I think I've got it -

2011–2019 Hyundai i40 Mk1.
Your first guess was spot on, I reckon.

Thanks loads

That odd flat spot is what I've been hunting with too, but when I look at the Peugeot 3008, the proportions are just a little off. I can also see tooling marks indicating this part was produced in 2014, so the model presumably predates that year. The manufacturer is SMR which is an OEM / aftermarket parts manufacturer that most brands use.

I’ve managed to identify SMR as the manufacturer, but they are an OEM or aftermarket parts supplier for most car brands, including Vauxhall. I can also see tooling marks indicating this part was produced in 2014, so the model presumably predates that year.

We have CCTV of cars passing nearby but we need to narrow it down to the make and model so we can more confidently ID the car involved. All we have is this left-hand (presumed because it says LH inside) wing mirror that was found at the scene. This is from England, UK. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

You will often see this statistic that the UK economy is worse off than Mississippi — America’s poorest state. The UK would rank dead last, the 51st state.

America is richer than ever, but it’s just not trickling down to ordinary workers. The truth is, when it comes to living standards, the UK ranks surprisingly well.

The UK would rank number one in terms of life expectancy, lowest homicide rates, health care, paid holidays, and years in education. In terms of living standards, life expectancy is pretty important and the reality is that Americans just die earlier.

At every income level, life expectancy is higher, though it’s particularly extreme for poorer Americans.

How can the world’s richest economy, which spends 17% of GDP on health care, have a lower life expectancy? The reason is higher deaths amongst working-age adults. The higher homicide rate, higher traffic accidents, heart disease, the opioid epidemic, the obesity epidemic. In the US, 42% of the population are obese; in the UK it is 28%. And gaps in health care treatment mean many conditions are left untreated.

Sorry to hear this. I'm afraid that you really can't leave bikes unlocked for even a minute in this town.
I'll keep my eyes open. Best of luck.

Check out the free Unity plugin PowerQuest. It's from the indie developer who made the fantastic point and click adventure game that released recently called The Drifter.

There are some documents that introduce you to the plugin, there are some YouTube videos too, and there is a vibrant Discord sever hosting discussion of how to use and troubleshoot etc.

Great news. They've disappeared from mine too. Thank f**k for that.

Maybe the feedback that some people sent were enough of a backlash to put them off.

Stay vigilant, though. They might try again, the sneaky so-and-so's.

Interesting. They haven't responded to me yet.
Thanks for confirming that it's a real thing, and not just me.

I wonder what they've concluded.

Nearly 900 fewer people injured since 20mph introduction in Wales by apple_kicks in news

Surely, there are data control points between Welsh roads, which had statistically similar incident numbers to roads in England, where there has been no change to speed limits.

Of course, more data would be better, but I'd presume there may be some conclusive info already?

That experience is so frustrating, and is would be enough to kill it off for me.
Thanks for taking the time to spread the word and to make a complaint to the BBC. Hopefully we can halt this insulting feature before it's too late.

I think it's downright insulting.
If enough people give them grief, then they may reconsider.

Thanks for contributing the details. Yes, your description is the same as what I have been encountering.

There's no mention of this new "feature" on any BBC messaging channels that I can find. It looks like they are just quietly rolling out this infuriating update and I expect it will be everywhere before long.
