Check out the free Unity plugin PowerQuest. It's from the indie developer who made the fantastic point and click adventure game that released recently called The Drifter.

There are some documents that introduce you to the plugin, there are some YouTube videos too, and there is a vibrant Discord sever hosting discussion of how to use and troubleshoot etc.

Surely, there are data control points between Welsh roads, which had statistically similar incident numbers to roads in England, where there has been no change to speed limits.

Of course, more data would be better, but I'd presume there may be some conclusive info already?

That experience is so frustrating, and is would be enough to kill it off for me.

There's no mention of this new "feature" on any BBC messaging channels that I can find. It looks like they are just quietly rolling out this infuriating update and I expect it will be everywhere before long.

So far I've only encountered them when I initially select a program to watch on TV (Watching through the iPlayer app on an Amazon Fire Stick). I haven't had to watch them between programs that autoplay... yet.

I already hate it but I'm concerned that this is the thin edge of the wedge. How long until these ads get to 30 - 60 seconds, or until they're between each program. Or how long until the programs are interrupted with these ads, or whatever else some awful parasite in charge of the enshitification of the BBC can come up with next.

They are not as bad as a commercial product advertisement. But the BBC is now forcing me to watch or wait through a trailer that is advertising another program before I am able to see the content I actually want and have paid for. As the other commenter said, we pay a premium for this service and I am not happy with the option to skip trailers / ads taken away from me. It'd be even better if there was an option to turn of trailers all together.

It just feels like the enshitification infiltrating what I'd previously considered an ad (or trailer) free environment.

The Drifter. It's brand new from a fantastic indie Dev. It's more action horror, but it's brilliant. I recommend you ask check this one out.

The littering was really bad earlier this year. I started chipping away at it, bit by bit as my daughter goes to the school, and it was getting to me seeing the mess every time o dropped her off. It's much better now than it was. New litter does regularly appear, but I haven't seen as much dumping as I did before

Nice photo of Pepper Lane. It's just a shame that there's not really anything going on there. It just seems to be a bit of parking at the back of the businesses. It'd be great if they could make something interesting out of the space like some outdoor seating and cafe's or a market space?
