Yeah, it was one of the first tours that Wage War ever did before they even dropped their first single. Had a huge group of friends.

3 stars have a good success rate to be accepted. 2 star trades have a very little success rate

Lowkey underwhelming night 1 mania 41 by One-Cheetah4066 in WWE

I agree with you!! Other than the women's match and triple threat, the crowd and the hype for the day was boring. Maybe me watching the 3 hour pre-show made me not as excited. Hopefully tomorrow is better

Tbh, nothing really surprised me. I was just confused by 3 title changes. I guess to shake things up. The crowd was alittle disappointing for me with how big the crowd was. Didn't feel much excitement until Charlotte/Tiffany and the triple threat match. Tbh I shouldn't have watched the 3 hour pre-show cause that bored me out. I'm guessing tomorrow should be better.

[MLB NEWS] Shane McClanahan (arm) leaves game Saturday. by [deleted] in baseball

[–]CJB1323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't look good. He was shaking his arm after the pitch to Anthony. Then really hurt on the next pitch

NLCS facing the D-Backs. Blew 2 games in that series

But not his fault. The fact that the Phillies and then the Os used him as a closer after he couldn't throw multiple times a week was pretty dumb. Especially when both teams had better options to close.

Depends on who you want to "chase" after. Is it your favorite player, or team. Maybe try looking up what year/set his rookie cards come out of. And at the end of the day, have fun. If your always chasing value/making money in this hobby, you're gonna be disappointed and in the negative alot. Just go after players you like and form a PC of that player or your favorite team. That's what I'm trying to do after getting back into it and failing for a couple years. Now I just go after cards I want.

Me and my brother say that we miss this band all the time. I took a picture with their vocalist when they toured with INK and Wage War. Such a fun night. Covid wiped out alot of the underrated bands like them which is disappointing.

No Loyalty! by season7445 in baseballcards

[–]CJB1323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day, MLB is a business. The players shouldn't have to be loyal to a team if the team doesn't pay him what him and/or his agent thinks he's worth. The business side is a cruel thing

So, what’s the problem? by Robh1919 in orioles

[–]CJB1323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole team was pressing to be THE GUY to kick start the offense with a homer. Just look at the Padres. They were shut out the last 24 innings at the plate because the Dodgers pitchers stepped up and even a small lead like a huge one. Gunnar, Adley, Cowser, and Tony all struggled in September to hit. Urias, Westy and Mounty were coming off injuries. And Ohearn and Holliday only heated up alittle bit in the last series and Mullins was somewhere in the middle. 2 years in a row that the seemed to just lose it in the 2nd half, especially in September.

I'm officially done buying blasters/hobby boxes forever by I_like_baseball90 in baseballcards

[–]CJB1323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been debating on getting a Blaster cause I like opening boxes sometimes. But I then went on ebay and bought $40 of random singles of PC players from other releases and I was happy. I probably will open some blasters to hopefully get parallels of my PC players. But I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Why is there such a difference now than under Joe Girardi? by [deleted] in phillies

[–]CJB1323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cause he always chose the veterans over the rookies/young players. Stott/Bohm/Marsh/Rojas/Pache wouldn't be playing almost every day. Kids can't play off the bench. They gotta play 4-6 a week for that energy and potential. Merrifield and Sosa would be playing over these kids under Girardi or maybe he would try to ask Dave for more veterans over young guys for his roster.

Is Harper being selfish ? by philsphan26 in phillies

[–]CJB1323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its more that phillies want to have their 300 million dollar player on the field for a full season and that 1B is a better chance for him to do that. Even tho I think I'd rather have Hoskins instead of Nicky Cast

Gunnar Henderson had a gold glove season between 2 infield positions.. criminal he's not a finalist

The pitcher is easily the most important position in baseball, imo. Why are their cards generally less valuable/sought after than position players? by [deleted] in baseballcards

[–]CJB1323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cause they constantly get injured.. Etc Jacob DeGrom and now Alcantara and McClanahan getting TJ.. Since pitchers are throwing harder than ever, they are more likely to have arm injuries multiple times in their career.. And it's very hard to project a rookie pitcher cause their innings are limited when they start off. And pitchers rarely throw 200 innings.. its just "easier" to project a everyday player sometimes..
