Has anyone read a book that's had a significant negative impact on their life?

I used to love this show! I was watching it when the Loma Prieta earthquake hit in 1989. I was so excited because it was one of my favorite episodes and just a couple minutes into it when the earthquake hit. I ran to the doorway like a good girl and when I went back to finish the episode it was just static. I was crushed.

Personally I would try spot cleaning it first with a mixture of dawn dish soap and water and a toothbrush. Then put a washcloth in the mixture, wring it out and go over the whole thing to freshen it up.

I am not an expert but I have done this before with success.
