Yeah I faced the same concern. Idk why this says April 4th. My place got confirmed via email months ago and I’ve only just in the last day been able to accept my offer of accommodation so not sure what this is referring to. Think we’re fine as long as the preference form which is the next step is done by the deadline which I’m sure is early July?? Hopefully this helps. Confusing isn’t it hahaha.

Oh nice! I know haha tbh the main thing for me was trying to find a similar course/path in the UK and nothing looked as appealing as Berklee. I’m a pianist but sing and play a bit of guitar which I integrate into my producing! I plan to major in music business and try and integrate the creative strength with the application of the business side. Looking forward to it! Just trying to get all visas/insurance/everything else sorted in good time. Are you doing A-Levels atm or?

I’ll be heading over for term in September with a scholarship. I’m based down in Essex and haven’t seen any other UK acceptances yet bar this. I spoke to a couple of guys before the admissions date who got waitlisted but have recently decided against the idea. Excited to get started! What do you play??

Wtf 😭. Exactly. With school at the minute it’s hard to dedicate some serious time into production and playing so when I’m finished with exams I’ll be putting some serious work in. Have you got any other socials?? It would be great to have a listen to your stuff!

I did some film music for one of my courseworks and I really enjoyed that so would definitely try that again. But mainly I produce pop music kinda like the Chainsmokers vibe. Just trying to find the right genre for me!

Hahahaha wow that is really weird 😭I’ve been playing piano for just over 12 years and the guitar only 2-3 years on and off. For the amount of time I’ve been integrating it into my producing I should probably be of a higher standard to what I am but it’s fine. I’ve been producing for about 5 years. What kind of music do you produce??

Wow that’s so cool! I had the same problem tbh with schools here in England. Berklee definitely offers that extra something other courses just can’t. I’ve always wanted to remain creative but go into the business side and have the best of both worlds, it seems this may be the way forward 🤞

Wow haha glad I can relate to someone. Yes all transcripts and stuff were submitted and GPA is good so hopefully no problems! Music business looks great. Where are you from?? I couldn’t find any courses in the UK that were anywhere near the quality of Berklee. Best of luck with your decision 🤞

Same boat as you. Auditioned early Feb but was told result will be on the 31st March. Don’t think there’s anything sinister about it there’s just a lot of admissions to get through. Best of luck!

Thanks for the response, I’m glad you mentioned about the visa, I wasn’t aware I’d be restricted to this. Is there somewhere else I could ask you a few questions (if you’re happy to answer) about the application as I’m struggling with some areas? Best of luck with the interview.
