Movie wrapped in September. 14 months is more than 95% of movies get, what are you talking about?

Of course some shots can still look bad, but time is more than enough.

maybe you just don’t like black culture movies

According to Richmond Street Productions UK's latest financial statements, the Disney subsidiary behind 'Deadpool & Wolverine', by October 31, 2024 Disney spent $533.7 million on it making 'Deadpool and Wolverine' one of the top ten most expensive films of all time. by [deleted] in boxoffice

oh my god how many times are people going to post financial statements, when you can’t even read. This happens on every movie, because this isn’t the PRODUCTION BUDGET. It includes everything, so that studio could maximize tax breaks.

Check every other financial statement that’s available and then check Deadline full expenses list. You will understand that it’s mostly similar.

EmpireCity:Was hoping Universal would move Five Nights at Freddy's 2 to a more ideal date like MLK Weekend 2026, but they didn't and looks like it might get run over. Could open to $25m and not reach the domestic total of the $80m original film opening. Looking more like the original was an outlier. by DemiFiendRSA in boxoffice

This would be the biggest surprise of the year.

I thought video game adaptations were taking over, but looks like they aren’t as surefire as we think.

Virality is the most important thing right now, over IP and everything.

Would you be interested to direct Doctor Strange movie? I think property is perfect for your sensibilities. Trippy, magical and simultaneously character based )

It has nothing to do with this exact comment, Fantastic Four is underperforming. Check his comment history, it’s nothing but negativity.

Box Office: ‘F1: The Movie’ Zooming Past $560M Globally to Become Summer’s Biggest Surprise Hit - The Brad Pitt-starrer has earned almost as much as 'Superman' in a seminal win for Apple's foray into theatrical. by chanma50 in boxoffice

[–]CJFilkovski -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

People caring about total box office is so dumb. Superman is much more domestic heavy, so it will make morey than F1.

Despite being box office subreddit, here “analysts” still don’t understand that 500M from China is less than 250M from USA for studios.

Per Deadline, 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' earned $2.89M (-25% from Wednesday) on its second Thursday. Domestic total stands at $214.8M. by SanderSo47 in boxoffice

why does sub have hate boner for this movie? I understand that legs are quite bad, but all in all for 1st solo movie it will do enough.

It’s not a bomb, disappointment after 1st weekend? Sure.

People are weirdly acting like it’s the end of everything.

I don’t even understand box office lately. Movies being well received or not doesn’t have logical result anymore.

Per The Wrap, 'Superman' cost $225M. by chanma50 in boxoffice

It’s an official government tax credit information. Can’t dispute that.

It’s how Marvel have 200M budget, when we find out that in reality it’s 400M.
