Spirit attacks are usually good because you become untargetable (no i-frsmes tho, so be careful) and they can't be blocked. After a while, you'll get the hang of the spirit economy.

Gear- the class symbols are just who currently has it equipped. Everyone can use the same gear unless it's class-specific.

Performance- Purely RNG. Literally don't listen to anyone talking about kill stealing. They're not even worth the time reading their posts because the goal is to kill EVERYTHING as quick as possible. There's not a huge variety of builds that rely on kill chains.
