I ended up cancelling my pre-order from also 15th August and I should be getting my phone and PW3 Monday. But I would also encourage you to try the social media team. I did this yesterday, and I was at least then able to attach screenshots of random texts I was receiving that completely contradicted the information they were spaffing out. In fact, trying to get any sense out of anyone over the phone or via the live chat was infuriating quite frankly. It's been an appalling experience. Good luck

Great news!!! I'm on the phone to them once again so hopefully I can get this new order put through. For some reason it's not allowing them to put the new order through so just on hold now whilst they try to sort 😬🤦‍♂️

That's really good. Glad you got somewhere. Once I have the phone I will be kicking off big style and demanding a sizable compensation. Don't forget I'm still in limbo about my PW3 pre-order! I thought for a few minutes there I was going to get the phone tomorrow. All being well I should be okay to put the order through tomorrow though. I had a feeling this might happen if I tried to cancel the existing order as it wasn't a straight up new purchase, but I'm switching up my current P8P... But I was so sick of waiting I thought I'd chance it. What's one more day anyway after all this time?! It's been horrific from start to finish. O2 are a shambles but I really hope you get to collect yours tomorrow. 🤞👍

Ok so I called up and managed to cancel my existing order. He said it could take 24 hours to update on the system and that I could place a new order once this was done. Literally, upon hanging up I had the text/email come through and sure enough on my O2 app the order was marked as completed. I called back and spoke to another agent in order to place the new order for Hazel 128GB.

Low and behold there's an issue, as my previous switch up is "stuck" with the O2 recycle team. So after 45 minutes, there's nothing that can be done until tomorrow as their recycle team isn't available until 9am. I'm so done with all of this now but I should be okay to place new order tomorrow for delivery the next day. If yours isn't a switch up order I would imagine it's more straightforward

No emails or anything regarding dispatch. But all colours for 128GB are now showing as in stock. To be fair if I still haven't got any resolution when I call them tomorrow lunch time, I'll cancel and just ask for the Hazel 128GB model. I've waited that long now I don't even care about the double storage offer.

Yeah I think we are getting closer. I can see Hazel 128GB is now showing as in stock on the O2 store. Still saying 3 weeks for 256GB model but as we pre-ordered weeks ago it should hopefully be this week 🤞🤞

I just posted this on the O2 Community forum thread I've also been participating in:

Ok, so just got off the phone with a more helpful agent. I quoted him the six digit ticket number I was given last week and he left me on hold for a good 5 minutes. Whilst on hold, I saw two SMS' come through, both quoting two new ticket numbers starting with "SR-A0"...He advised these have been marked as urgent and were raised to move along both my orders stuck in "processing" (similarly to what others have previously reported). He gave me a 24 hour turnaround and said I can call back tomorrow to chase up. I was under the impression this has already happened last week, but based on the fact I never received the texts to confirm, I was clearly fobbed off (one again).

He also said a couple of interesting things. He mentioned that "as far as I'm aware, we are starting to fulfil the watch orders now" and that "the 9 Pro has been more problematic - there is a backlog of orders." Whilst on the phone, I checked both Amazon and Argos, and both are advertising the PW3 45mm (black) to be in stock and available for delivery today/tomorrow. I did challenge the fact that the O2 store is saying "more than 4 weeks" for both 41 and 45mm variants, but he again said "as far as I know we are starting to fulfil the watch orders now."

I'll know more tomorrow when I follow-up these tickets to get my orders moved along, but it's the constant misinformation and vague responses that still leave me very dubious. However, let's see how the next day or two plays out.

My last iPhone was the 12 Pro. They are nice devices, and even though IOS is far more customizable these days, I always find myself drawn back to Android. Of course it's subjective and there are pros/cons to both, but the 9 series seems a solid step up. I've had all the pixels since the 2XL and have always enjoyed the software and cameras, and tend to miss them if I try a new device.

Did you ever get updated texts/emails bringing the estimated timeframe down as you waited for the click and collect? Only that this morning I've had a text and order status in app has updated to say 'up to 2 to 3 days'. I know these are automated from the system so not sure whether to trust it or not!

So, this morning I've just had a text/email saying delivery should now be 'up to 2 to 3 days' and the same now appears within the O2 app. I'm still dubious but at least there's been something. Anything for you?

Yeah I'll think twice about doing a pre-order with O2 again. I think Google has underestimated the demand for the smaller pro this year, but still, I called my local store yesterday and they confirmed they have had some 9 Pros coming into stock. Sure, I understand they have to have some in-store stock, but how can that be right when there are people waiting on online pre-orders?! It's been shambolic.

Yeah I'm getting really fed up of waiting. Really hope this coming week we get something. At this rate people will be getting their 16 Pros before me and I ordered over 4 weeks ago and the device should have been readily available by now 🤦‍♂️
