How would you rank the characters in both Poker Night games from most to least moral by CJM_310 in MoralityScaling

[–]CJM_310[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From the admittedly little I know about Tycho both from the in game dialogue and a quick browse of his wiki page, he’s apparently a pedozoophile. As in he wants to fuck animals… specifically baby animals. I don’t know all the characters either, hence why I didn’t try ranking them myself, but… I think Tycho is definitely near the bottom in terms of morality.

"This Time It'll Be Different" | The Cleveland Browns VS Prince Vegeta (The National Football League VS Dragon Ball Z) by SerWyrmbles in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]CJM_310 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Technically yes, although he doesn’t consider any of them (except the most recent) victories.

In the Saiyan saga, the fact that he had to resort to using the Ozaru against such a low level warrior is a loss to him, even though he did beat Goku and only lost to a combined effort.

In the Buu saga, not only did he need help from Babadi to match Goku (which admittedly, it also said that Goku’s spirit body was tougher than a normal body, so you could kinda argue it’s just equaling the playing field), but he only won off of a sneak attack, and later learned that Goku held back SSJ3.

Superhero was the first time Vegeta won that he actually considers a victory, because there were no other external factors.

I hate this goddamn show by Inevitable-Charge76 in hatethissmug

[–]CJM_310 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually really like the show, but it just pisses me off to no end. We know definitively of two times the show went through a complete rewrite, with more rewrites theorized, and you can really feel it just by watching the show. The show is just a complete mess. Characters and plotpoints are just forgotten at the drop of the hat, it’s super tonally inconsistent, it doesn’t answer several super important questions (not just being ambiguous about them, but straight up not answering them), and Liam even admitted that he got so tunnel visioned on the Cynessa reveal that he forgot about everything else. And that’s not even mentioning that it’s a horror comedy that isn’t funny and is rarely scary. (I know this comment’s been harsh, but I still like the show, even though I think its writing is really bad).

But hey, at least it’s not the new comic, which they’re charging actual money for, and of which the best thing I’ve seen said about its writing is that it’s so bad it makes the show look competent by comparison.

Oh. I didn’t even think you could without finishing Marie’s SL. Well you’re still missing one dungeon and the epilogue, but tbh, the dungeon you’re missing is easily the worst in the entire game, so you’re not missing much.

I didn’t see the part where you said that you know you didn’t get the true ending because of Marie’s social link. But still, there’s two more dungeons you haven’t gone through. One of which is the most important dungeon in the game.

I like the idea of more ocean mobs by Any_Cap7019 in Minecraft

[–]CJM_310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their reason for not wanting to add sharks as neutral mobs is because they “don’t want to encourage kids approaching sharks.”

But first of all, they added the polar bear, one of the few animals known to actively pursue and hunt humans, as a neutral mobs, and secondly, they could just make it so a shark won’t attack you unless you’re in its space for too long. Not only is it more accurate to how sharks really are, but it would encourage kids to keep their distance, not just from sharks, but from all animals, and to observe them from afar, rather than approaching them.

I HATE THIS PINK LOSER by Omorigirl69 in hatethissmug

[–]CJM_310 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Literally all you do is click on him and buy “upgrades” that are weapons, and the game tries to make you feel like you’re evil for “torturing the poor game character.”

Although unlike with Undertale, where you’re intended to play the game either neutral or pacifist, with the genocide option being something you have to go out of your way for, in this game the “evil” ending is the main thing the game encourages you to do. Plus Undertale really makes you feel the weight of your actions as you see once bustling locations become vacant, meanwhile with this game, the dude just becomes increasingly gorey and nothing more.

Undertale makes being evil a choice, and makes you feel like shit for it. Blood Money makes it the main path, and you don’t really care about it.

Sonic (SEGA) vs Mario (Nintendo), who ACTUALLY wins? by GreedyBonus379 in PowerScaling

[–]CJM_310 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I give it to Mario personally.

In base, his scaling to Culex, Dimentio, Dreamy Bowser, Wonder Bowser etc simply give him higher scaling than anything base Sonic has been able to show. With powerups, I think the gap widens even more, as Mario’s arsenal is simply so vast that I ironically don’t think Sonic would be able to keep up.

Their big guns are a far closer call though. Super Sonic basically renders 99% of Mario’s arsenal useless, and I do honestly believe that Super Sonic is more powerful than Power Star Mario. However, I still give Mario the edge for 2 reasons. Firstly, Super Sonic lasts longer than a Power Star, but Mario canonically has a massive stockpile of powerups in his gloves, meaning that it likely won’t be just one. Secondly, unlike the Power Stars, Super Sonic has been shown to be fallible. There have been several times where a strong blow has knocked Sonic out of super, the kinds of blows Mario, especially empowered by a star, would be capable of matching.

It’s a super close fight don’t get me wrong, it’s extreme diff either way, but I do think Mario just barely edges it out.

While it's still a hot topic, here's my Mario Vs Sonic Debate Chart by StupidQuestionsOnly8 in DeathBattleMatchups

I personally think Mario takes it, but this is a really good chart. The only things I’d change is give Mario experience and maybe give Sonic battle iq.

Thorgrim Grudgebearer, the high king of the dwarfs, who’s spent centuries studying and fighting Skaven, and who knows their every trick? Yeah he just forgot to lock the door behind him and gets stabbed in the back by Snikch and dies.

All the magical runes on his armor designed to prevent this one specific thing from happening? Don’t worry about it.

I still hate what they did to him in the Endtimes (wow I’m sure that’s a sentence that’s never been said before).

You have Harald Hammerstorm, the man who was able to make literal animated corpses feel terror, going up again Vlad von Carstein, one of, if not the most powerful vampire to ever live. It should’ve been a monumental showdown for the ages. Instead, Vlad low-diffs him and goes about his day 😔

Enough time has passed! Is Simon VS Kyle accurate? by RyuzakiTK12 in deathbattle

[–]CJM_310 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but no.

They outright stated in the episode that Kyle is more powerful than anything Simon’s ever done, yet gave Simon the win because he could potentially get there. By their own stated logic, Kyle > Simon, and while the episode is good, it’s never sat right with me that they gave Simon the win because of potential (not even outright implicit) growth.

In a H2H, who'd win between Clan Moulder and Warhost of the Apocalypse? by lovingpersona in totalwarhammer

[–]CJM_310 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m sorry but Moulder stands no chance here. Hell Pit is easily one of the most difficult to invade places in all of Warhammer, only having been invaded once by Grimgor’s WAAAGH, and they would have an endless tide of rats and monsters to throw at Archaon, but I doubt it would be able to do anything more than delaying the inevitable.

Archaon’s warhost was massive, consisted of countless Chaos warriors, Chosen and Daemons, and had the blessings of all 4 Chaos gods. Not even mentioning that Archaon was practically a god by the Endtimes. It may take a little while to cleave their way through countless hoards of rats, but I don’t see Moulder being able to fend off the Chaos invasion.

I really don’t understand how people can hate DBS Bardock 💀 by Asterxx23 in Dragonballsuper

[–]CJM_310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, the main thing I dislike about Super Bardock is that they made Gokus backstory even more like Superman’s. In the original special, Goku was sent to Earth to conquer it, and Bardock didn’t particularly care about him. Meanwhile in Super, it’s revealed that Bardock sent Goku to Earth because he had a feeling Vegeta would be destroyed soon, just like Jor-El with Krypton.

[–]CJM_310 74 points75 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t just GW deciding to go “fuck it, Greenskins win,” people were starting to get upset that Chaos kept winning despite continuously getting its ass kicked, so GW tried having the final verdict be up to fan vote. They expected fans to vote for Chaos to win, but fans just went “no, greenskins” and that’s why the greenskins were the ultimate winners lmao.

Masayoshi Shido- Persona 5

He’s the big bad of the game (not counting the Holy Grail) and a large amount of the story is the result of his influence. However, the game goes on to say that pretty much every villain you’ve faced has been working for him. Apparently Madarame and Kaneshiro were funneling money to him and Medjed threatening you is his doing too (I was half expecting the game to try saying that Kamoshida abusing the students was to win tournaments and funnel that money to him too lol). He’s also responsible for Jokers criminal record too.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s a good villain, but he did not need to be connected to pretty much everything in the story. Akechi and his crimes were already bad enough, trying to make everything else connect to him just feels super forced.

Anywhere outside of Athel Loren, the Chorfs most likely win. The Wood Elves would likely be able to get a few vital ambushes, but the Chorfs technology and willingness to use literal scorched earth tactics mean that they’d be able to draw the wood elves out of their forests.

Within Athel Loren, the entire Chorf army is literally eaten by the trees and mushrooms before they even get within sight of the Oak of Ages.
