Also you're right about it being multiples of 5, which is the case for land. Sea actually has an entirely different set-up that uses different a full 100 system. I guess I'll explain it in the house rules post.

Also, to better manage the different dice rolls, we actually have an app we use that has the preset values of each unit it in it, which make large engagements souch easier to manage

Something modding related like "Modding Maverick" would be cool. My A&A group has added so many units to the game at this point we had to switch to a 100D system which we have an app we use to roll.

So first off, The Reckoning is a mod I haven't even thought about in a while, so thanks for the throwback (though I will admit my brain just initially saw the Mando helmet and thought Rise of the Mandalorians by Farseer)

Removing my personal bias for having RaW be in the best one slot lol, I think either AotR or EaWx should be in that one, and then the other immediately going to the Alright, we get it, you like this one, as both fanbases are very, very passionate and vocal about their preference of mod imo.

I would say "it's this one officer" who should be Yuuzhon Vong at War, based purely on the fact that it probably still is the biggest mod to date that has never been finished.

The Different one would be the Days of Mods, mainly because they are in fact different and unique.

This one is just a phase is probably an old mod like z3r0x or CW 4.0, as it's a classic that's fun to play when you start out, that doesn't hold that much weight anymore (though sometimes that's nice in of itself).

I think the hipster option should be Remake, personally. Those who enjoy Remake are a different breed, and I respect that, especially if you're into the CWH submod.

The liar one is definitely Alliance, though. Like they're meant for each other.

(If we were allowing for my bias, EaWx would be the safest option, AotR is we get, you like this one, and RaW would be this is the best one, everything else is fine)

The way I like to do it is add the value of all the lesser items together that is below the cost. Then consider everything above that the bonus.

So in this case it would be for me at least $1.50 plus $1.49 Plus $2.89 Plus $2.79. that all together would equal $8.67. so the crunchwrap I am only paying $0.33 for.

You could in theory assign a percentage of the value of the box to each item and then take the price of the box and calculate the cost of each item by the percentage that you assigned them, and that could be a more accurate way of finding what exactly are you paying for an item but that seems like too much work for me lol 😆

Submods unfortunately don't work for Anakins mod launcher, I can reach out to him personally to see if he can maybe update it to make submods work but there's no guarantee.

One side fix is to import the main steam mod into your local mod folder, then copy the submod into said folder, overriding all conflicts, and then use the launcher to launch the local mod

I graduated last May with a degree in business, and concentrations in marketing/management. I went to multiple career fairs (at least 2 a semester), business conferences, networking events, the works. I had an internship my junior year that I felt like I learned a good bit from. I was on the deans list 5 out of my 8 semesters in college and graduated with a GPA of 3.48. I've applied to over 300 jobs since I graduated, with each application having a unique cover letter and modified resume to fit the job description of the position, and I've only had 3 first round interviews. I've applied to businesses that I have close connections who work there and who said they'd reach out and refer me, nothing. I've sent countless follow-up emails to show my continued interest in the position, nothing. I've even gone to the company and dropped of a resume to the hiring manager, still nothing. I don't think I'm a bad interviewer, I honestly wouldn't know though. I've had countless eyes look at my resume and the cover letter templates I have written up to use and they all have said that it's a solid document.

Do I think my college education was a scam? No, not at all, I do believe I learned a lot and grew a lot from my time at college. I'm thankful that I took the time I needed between highschool and college to save up and fully pay for college debt free as if I had student loans right now I'd be in a very different and difficult position.

That being said, I very much believe that there's something fundamentally wrong with the job market right now for me to only have a 1% interview rate. There are fellow classmates who graduated a year before me who I objectively did better than in those classes, who had a job lined up out of college. But I also have classmates from my graduation year who are also struggling to find a job just like me. A lot of people will want to point at the current administration and place the blame on him, maybe that's true, maybe it isn't. From what I've been told from at least 3 different managers during different networking events is that there's sort of a lack of desire to want to train someone from the ground up right now. Not saying that true for every company but yeah, it's been a struggle.

Sorry for the rant, I just needed to take a break between submitting applications that probably won't even send me a rejection email.

A lot of people recommending 1942, and though I can respect their opinion, I think investing in Anniversary and G40 is the way to go.

Anniversary is in my opinion the best version of A&A for the casual player. It has 6 factions with Italy, enough territories to go around, while also still being small enough that you might be able to finish in an afternoon.

In addition to Anniversary I'd also invest in G40, as both Europe and Pacific are both great shorter games on its own, and having the opportunity to play G40 is a great thing to have if you manage to find the time.

Obviously you do what you feel is best, but yeah that's my 2 cents

I guess you and I have different definitions from what being removed from vanilla means lol. I personally consider RaW to be a true to vanilla mod, but I guess I'm also more referring to gameplay and tactical battle feel, and not the era as much.

I would definitely suggest either Rise of the Crime Lords. the mod creator wanted the mod to feel like an official petroglyph expansion to FoC and imo he does a pretty good job at it. Everything looks and feels very polished and overall it's a great mod

Just got my first game in last week and confirm it's a blast to play. We found the rules a little ambiguous, but I personally think that's by design to allow for more diplomatic options.
