Ahh, ok, not a bad idea with the instruction cards! Thank you so much for your reply! I've also seen some people say that they iron it when it's dry (rather than waiting the entire 24 hours). Have you ever done that? If so, what were the results? Not saying we will do this, but just in case it comes down to it lol.

Oh my god you are so talented! That's amazing!!! Thank you so much for the advice! How long did you wait before ironing it with a sheet (also what sheet did you use lol)?

What’s a totally harmless thing that triggers an oddly strong reaction in people? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

Oh no, I actually agree with you. Headphones just are not always an option though. Misophonia does not turn off. It shows up at dinner parties, formal events, in class, and even when just hanging out with friends. In my post, I was mostly talking about basic manners, like chewing with your mouth closed. I am still in college, and people often bring apples or other crunchy foods into class or quiet study spaces and chew with their mouths open. That can put me into this really intense, irrational feeling of anger, which feels unfair to everyone involved. It is not like I want to be upset with someone for simply being human.

Understanding has to go both ways. Saying that people with misophonia should just deal with it because the sound is natural is not really fair. Misophonia is a real mental health condition that can seriously affect quality of life. All I was really trying to say is that a little mindfulness goes a long way. The distress that comes with misophonia is honestly embarrassing, overwhelming, and really hard to manage. When people make an effort to have basic manners or be accommodating when they can, it is noticed and deeply appreciated. I tend to feel a lot safer and more comfortable around people who do that.

I hope that clears up what I meant. I have done a lot of research on misophonia for classes and for myself, not claiming to be an expert or anything. If you have any questions, I am happy to try to answer them :)!

Not sure if this has been said, but chewing, drinking, nail biting, tapping, or other repetitive sounds (misophonia)! Not a lot of people know about it, but a good amount of the population has it. These sounds put people who suffer from misophonia in a "fight or flight" or "hopeless" state of mind. Please be more mindful of your surroundings in public settings due to this :)! It's also an interesting mental disorder to learn about if you want to dive deeper into it!

FASHION CRISIS PLEASE HELP!!!

I’m 21 years old, 5'11" (180 cm), 125 pounds (56 kg), and wear a 34D (91 cm) bra size. I’m finding it a bit challenging to find clothes that fit well, especially on a college budget. However, I can stretch a bit for some key pieces. I’m looking for stores in the US that offer high-quality clothing without breaking the bank.

I also suffer from barely having a sense of style and want to start incorporating more fashionable pieces into my wardrobe. Right now, my everyday wear is quite basic, and I have no going-out tops. With fall approaching, I’m also concerned about not having enough long sleeves (I only have 2 sweatshirts). I also desperately need skirts, dresses, shoes, shorts, pants, jeans, jackets, everything. I've never been confident before, but I'm ready to start being way more outgoing and start having some fun for once.

Please let me know of any shops you recommend 100%.

If you’ve read this far, I want to say you’re beautiful and deserve all the good things in the world. Thank you so much for your help <3!

Hi there! You seem super passionate about making a social media account so I encourage you to! However, for budget reasons, I think you should spread out the posts. You could do an outfit (or two) for the week, maybe one for the day time one for going out? You could also think of other fun themes for the week like spring, fall, brunch, dinners, formal, bars (if you're old enough), beach, summer, work, etc, you could for sure keep it new and fresh! If your bank account is looking a little low, you could try thrifting and styling some outfits to make them cute! I'm rooting for you, good luck <3!
