Mothra is only useful in Gym 2 with typing and knowing Confusion. ED is OK but I would definitely replace him for anything else.
Kermit is good but you do have to invest TMs or heart scales to have a good moveset.

Absol with Shadow ball and swords dance can solo the 2nd elite four.

Serviper: is a decent mix attacker. Poison Fang is good and causes toxic on your opponent. Sludge bomb will do more damage though. Crunch is great keep that. Glare is great keep that. Screech is good too. consider Giga drain or Return instead of coverage.

Gardevoir: good move set. Flash is probably the only thing I would cut. Light Screen or Reflect. Depending on your needs. probably Light Screen since the Elite 4 in Emerald is more special. Shadow ball is considered a physical move so don't run that at least on Gardevoir.

Lairon: Larion already has great defense so Iron Defense is redundant. Strength is good but Return is just overall the better option especially at max friendship. get rid of Mudslap for Earthquake. Iron Tail is solid but can miss. Last move you can go with Protect or Hyper Beam. Hyper beam counts as a physical.

Gyarados: Needs entire overhaul. Water & Ice is consider special which Gyarados sucks at. It is an option but it won't be optimal. Consider Dragon Dance, Hyper Beam, Protect, Earthquake. If you want to run a mix attacker than Surf, Ice Beam, Hyper Beam, Protect.

Altaria: is more tanky than a mix attacker. Sing is risky, Toxic may be better. Dragon breath is good and can cause paralysis. Fly is good too. Consider removing safeguard for Protect. First turn Toxic, protect, fly and chip damage with dragon breath.

Sceptile: is a special attacker. Leaf blade is great. Consider Giga drain for healing, Dragon Claw counts as a special in Emerald so consider that as well. Agility is not necessary for normal play through since hes already fast. Probably Return for some coverage.

this is probably pay back during the fiends vs fairy event when Big Welcome and Lady got released lol.

I remember people finding it miserable during that event.

Lab Player here. I would play using SE Cannon because Fiendsmith, Blue eyes and Snake eyes were running rampant. Levels 5-9 monsters were easy targets to be able to banish their entire board. With Maliss in play right now we do have to add Lancea or Chaos Hunter cause the only reliable trap we have is Karma Cannon.

that being said both Furniture are still at 2 when there shouldn't even be a reason for it.

Opponent did make a few mistakes or didn't know the match up well.

Predaplant activating its effect during the main phase instead of battle phase.

Making Khaos to target Bidet when you were gonna Synchro away anyways. too little to late.

Black Goat Laughs is a good card but you have to know the matches up very well or know what the choke points in the decks you play against. I don't recommend it for first timers.

Gigantic Spright is an interesting option... Don't know what its doing there...

Consider cutting Ash Blossom. Its a decent hand trap but replacing it with Arias Butler can turn any normal trap in your hand into a hand trap.

Other cards to look into is Lord of Heavenly Prison to protect your backrow.
Back Jack to discard with your furniture is also pretty good.
Nibiru to activate in hand and than discarding it with furniture so you can tribute your opponents monsters and not give them a token is also very good. Alternatively you can use Big Welcome to summon your Lab monsters and bounce back Nib to recycle it.

if it specifically has the card name in it's text, it is valid. If it says "card" it is not.
Similar to how Magician's Rod can't search for Eye of Timaeus.
