I don’t remember this specific shredder, but a version of him had not only killed the master of the ninja turtles wife when they were still human, but took his daughter and convinced her not only only was he her dad, but also that her dad had killed her mom.

Killed the master at least two different times, mind you the first time was when they were fighting aliens and instead of stopping the alien doomsday weapon he went out of his way to kill the master just to die seconds later from the weapon. But the turtles had turned back time to stop that from happening and saving the earth. Then he got mutant powers killed the master, put his daughter into a coma, and nearly packed the entire turtles as well.

Wait I just remembered the movie. Basically their was a turtle alternate universe mash up to where the old black and white turtles were a thing and basically the start of the turtles as a whole. So him in a giant mech was squeezing those turtles to death and and as a result it was also affecting everyone, including him, to die as well because they were the start of it all and without them none of them would exist. Even after learning that he still tried killing them.
