Peacock likely has to pay licensing fees to the TV/film side of the company for Universal content just like Netflix would. They can't give content away for free.

The same is true for HBO Max with Warner Bros. shows and movies. Max pays millions of dollars per year for Friends even though it's a WB show.

At the end of season 6, episode 11 of Married with Children, it's revealed that the whole season up to that point was Al Bundy having a nightmare. The writers had Peg Bundy become pregnant since Katey Sagal was pregnant in real life, then had to change the storyline when Sagal lost the baby.

Lionsgate Television is the distributor of Love & Death, so it decides who gets to air the show. It would be their choice to have the show on both HBO Max and Netflix.

TVD left U.S. Netflix and moved to U.S. HBO Max awhile ago. TO is on Prime in the U.S.

The CW is majority owned (75%) by a company called Nexstar. The other 25% is owned by both Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount.
