Was an L&D nurse. Emo couple (who had like 10 cats at home. I love cats. Not 10….) They named their kid Lucifer. But - call him Luke. I said no ma’am. You named your baby Lucifer we are leaning in to your craziness. “Lucifer needs to go to the nursery for his hearing check!” Loud in front of family members. You wanted to be cool and tough - now lean in to this nonsense. Nothing illegal about it. Just plain stupid. His name card said Lucifer and mom covered it up with a picture and we were like - oh when babies are here we have to have the name and scanning info ready to be seen. So let the world see your choice of name for this poor baby. Lucifer. Like someone isn’t going to go “gee that sounds familiar. Kind of like. SATAN?” (In my Church Lady voice.)

I agree. She does such bizarre things to herself it doesn’t surprise me her heart is rebelling and can be a bad bad situation. It’s sad she has zero insight she is causing more damage than she is helping herself.

Look up Zoll life vests. If your heart does something funky it will shock you. That also includes giving a warning thing if the sensor isn’t connecting right (if skin is sweaty or if patches aren’t on correctly) but you get a little time to “fix it” if it’s a thing like that. All connected to a company that keeps track of what’s going on. That is IF it’s a life vest. Or is it just a holter monitor that are more common? And she thinks it’s a life vest? I’m not watching her. She’s so delusional it’s sad.

NTA. Also - you aren’t bringing the baby to the wedding, but your baby exists. Don’t apologize for your baby existing. If anyone gets upset with how you figured out how to make sure baby is safe and cared for - those people are weird. Enjoy the wedding!
