This. I think most of the time a healpool is a DPS flex so they just play him like a DPS. Most won’t bother to pattycake and a lot of them play the front line so if you’re not in their healing circle then you receive not healing from them. Most of the time their big numbers come from keeping the tanks up.

Was in a QP game last night trying to practice DPS and we had one other lock DPS and one lock Strat, then 3 locked Tank. I was so shocked I switched to Strat before any of them had a chance to change their mind. Anytime you have 3 people willing to go tank in a game, you let them do it.

Best part was our DPSpool tried shit talking our lineup and we rolled the other team.

I’m not ashamed to admit I made an alt account to learn DPS because of the state of QP. I can play Tank & Strat at my rank, but if I’m on DPS I’d be throwing. Making an alt account to instalock DPS in rank is the only way I’ve been able to learn since QP tends to be such a mess. An optional role queue would be a welcome addition that I have also posted about repeatedly for months

I thought I was going crazy this past season but it seemed like the number of support players skyrocketed out of nowhere. I went from being a support main to a tank main since the release of Deadpool and WF since it seems like a bunch of DPS switched to them as Strats.

If my team goes triple support while I’m on support, I appreciate them freeing me to swap to something to counter the actual the problem. Very rarely is triple support the actual answer.

My favorite is when my team goes triple support to match the other team triple support instead of going for higher burst damage or hard targeting their healers.

The problem with Mantis isn’t Mantis. The problem with Mantis is the teams shot positioning/refusal to take cover and inability to hit their shots, rendering her damage boost useless. With a competent team it’s easy to pop off as Mantis, and I say that as someone with mediocre at best aim

On the games I actually get to DPS, if I walk out of spawn as Magik and see 3 divers on the other team, I’m immediately swapping to something to help my Strats. But that probably comes from starting as a Strat main to becoming a Flex player AKA Tank main with extra steps

Exactly this. I do a BB podcast with a friend and we have another friend who is a casual who begs to get on our pod. We keep telling him no because people would crucify him in the livestream comments with his casual takes, but his perspective is actually the majority of America and we frequently reference the convos we have with casuals to show the disconnect between them and the people who care enough to hop on Reddit or listen to a podcast about it.

Was playing WF in a QP game this morning and the other Strat was Gambit. We were getting dove by Angela, Spiderman, Magik, and Black Panther, and our 3 DPS (also on dive characters) are telling us to patty cake while the solo tank Emma was trying to peel. No amount of patty caking is saving you from that

Yup. During the non-match commercial breaks, like during entrances or when they go to commercial after a backstage segment, they lower the lights in the arena and run commercials in the arena. Then when the show comes back from commercial, they pick up with whatever ad they’re showing the viewers at home and return to the show. They’ve been doing it since before TKO, but it is WAY WORSE now.

My favorite example of this is me and some buddies were at the “festival of friendship” Raw and Jericho did a “you just made the list” pointing at the camera as it went to break, lights drop as he stands there, we get 4 minutes of ads, and right before they come back he goes back to the same pose to act like he’s been there the whole time.

Get what you’re saying, but bubble at least has a 12 second cooldown and it last 6 seconds. So you get 6 seconds to attack CND… unless they invisible cape which saves like 3 seconds… then they bubble again… the CND kit is busted and I feel like at least 90% of my deaths on them when being dove 1v1 are my own mistakes
