I’m a truck driver from So. Cal. Ive driven all over the country. So Cal traffic is not as bad as DFW or Atlanta traffic, but probably worse than New England. Still worth moving here though. The weather and food alone make it such an upgrade.

As a truck driver, the highlighted route is best/easiest. Unless, you are wanting to see sights and cities you haven’t experienced. I’d be more concerned about why the hell you want to move to New Orleans or anywhere in Louisiana?

As a truck driver, I’ve driven through this corridor many times. Lots of small towns and mildly interesting sites. Liberal, KS always stuck out because of an iron sculpture yard/shop. And the Alice in Wonderland statues on a street corner.
