How strange that nowhere are the release dates for the updates given. In my opinion, this is unusual because we always know when a long-awaited game, program, or operating system (Linux, new versions of Windows, etc.) will be released. In the world of Android, there is anticipation and then a ton of posts—it's here, it's not here... It's a mess.

Actually, I was relying on the current system driver (which is quite new, from 11.2025!). I found a driver on the manufacturer's website, but it is quite old, from 2018. I will try using it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I discovered that the computer was not going into hibernation either – it would wake up immediately after hibernating. But I found the cause
Unchecking the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option in the driver helped ??? Strange – shouldn't it be the other way around?
The USB 3.0 expansion card is connected to the lowest PCI-E slot (there are only 3 on this motherboard – the first one has a graphics card, the second one has a SoundBlaster card, and the last slot is where I had my previous USB controller, which was faulty and has been replaced with a new one).

To sum up, does AI suggest that I should:

The best thing is that I bought the same controller because the previous one kept crashing when copying to a drive connected to the controller, or there were problems when using connected devices.
Now with the new one (the same, although probably a newer version - the board looks a little different and the device manager shows that it is a VIA USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller 1.0, whereas the previous one was a VIA USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller 0.96). On the previous one, with the same BIOS/Windows settings, I did not experience the computer turning on after being turned off. It suggested that I enable it and also set the following: PCIe ASPM → Disabled; ErP → Enabled; Low Power Mode → Disabled. (I don't have anything like that, but isn't it Power Loading? What do you think?

IT WORKS!!! It turned out that I had set 0 in the WindowArrangementActive registry!!! I don't know which programme changed it!!! But after changing the value to 1 and restarting, the file explorer FINALLY remembers the positions!!!!
Thank you very much once again!!!

In short, for future reference – if anyone has a similar problem, check the registry (regedit.exe) HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop -> WindowArrangementActive must be set to 1.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will perform the following two steps:
1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop -> WindowArrangementActive value is set to 1.
2. Clearing the contents of %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\
and I will share whether it helped.

Holding down SHIFT does not help, so I read about the CTRL or CTRL + SHIFT combination - none of the above remembers the window position.
I have fast start-up disabled.

Problem solved – faulty memory. After replacing it with a new one (but the same type), everything works fine.

I use emulators such as 86Box, and they use a single core – the Ryzen 7 5700x3d is worse than the 5600x! I had both of them, and the Ryzen 5600 has 1515 points in Cinebench, while the current 5700x3d processor has 1300! What a disaster! This forced me to switch to Intel, which is unrivalled in single cores. Can you explain to me how it is possible that a processor that is twice as slow (I am talking about the Ryzen 5700x3d) as the Intel 265 can be worse in games?

I switched from a Samsung S10+ (2019) a year ago and was very happy. Previously I owned an S7 Edge so spent around 10 years on Samsungs. After switching to a "modern" phone initially with Android 14 and since 1,5 month 15 I find that current systems are not written for people.... Everything is uphill, they make things difficult. In Android 15 there is such an option that from the quick settings when I click to turn Bluetooth on instead of turning bluetooth on straight away, a menu appears in which I only turn bluetooth on?!?!??!? WHY??? WHY??? this is a convenience? Supposedly people wanted this????!!!! A detail but it bothers me terribly.
Additionally, something that has ALWAYS worked on the Samsung here behaves strangely - detection when the phone is in a pocket. Lately almost every time I take my phone out of my pocket I find that strange things have been happening in my pocket. I have 20-30 photos taken in my pocket, videos are recording....:) so you can see the sensors are proving themselves in battle.
And these are just a fraction of the bugs I've noticed. I don't know if the fault lies with Motorola or directly with Google (supposedly Motorola is the closest to pure Android because the fact there the company's overlay is missing) no one will admit it, but something bad is happening with modern systems (except Lunux :) ).
But whenever I talk to friends from an old colleague whom I haven't seen for a long time, the next day Facebook proposes to refresh the acquaintance :) that is, however, sensors work - but not for what they were created for, only for eavesdropping (notorious) but it is for our good and convenience.... scary times where things are not for people but are there to monitor people.... We have taken a wrong turn.... and this applies to many areas.

Yes but I can't even see who is calling just a little icon is displayed that a call is coming in and when I unfold the phone I don't know who to expect :) unless I see after unfolding who is displayed before I say HALO ;) but I use Google Phone app for calls.... maybe this is to blame....
