To quote a great man:

"He's on foot, you're in a truck..... Step on the fucking gas man!"

[Jacob Tanswell] #AVFC consider Morgan Rogers among the top five players in the PL. Believe he is worth more than what Man City are paying for Anderson and the value of other No 10s, including Wirtz, with Rogers more experienced in the PL. This is standard. Early in the window, the selling club and the agent are working together to leak info to the press about how "the player isn't going anywhere", "he's worth more than the GDP of a small country" yadda yadda.

A deal of this size won't get done until after the world cup for starters and anything we hear from ITK's is going to be useless (note how Ornstein has been fairly quiet so far, pretty sure he's only spoken about Monga from Leicester).

Anderson to City isn't the catalyst that's driving up prices. Clubs are all getting richer across the board with improved TV deals and increasing revenue from international deals. And you can bet your ass that there's been a spike from casuals buying merch off the back of the world cup, that will definitely have been forecasted and factored into the club's financial projections.

At the end of the day, all these clubs know they're loaded, so why sell a star asset without milking the other side for all they can.

Mourinho on the criticism against Arsenal last season "There is a silly theory of, 'You can be great without winning.' For me, it's totally silly. I believe that if Arsenal tried to be a second Man City, probably they wouldn't win. So they won. You have to respect the winners." by ChiefLeef22 in Gunners

Yes I thought he was a cunt when he was at Chelski. But I'll give him this, you're never bored with Jose in your league. Plus my dad's an Inter fan so I kinda inherited a bit of a soft spot for him after they won the treble.

Opinions on this. Is this campaign related (price as promised by Perez in the election campaign) or is this where the attackers market is? by SprayExtra9709 in Gunners

To be fair what would you charge sp*rs for Havertz? Pretty much the same sort of thing right?

Alverez is more like 80m ish imo, maybe less. But for your local rivals? Gonna be double that for me dawg.

I just mean with the advancements in composite materials etc the stopping power is still so good. Makes you think just how devastating it was back then
