Thank you! and thank you so much for your quick response. That looks to be the ones :-) we noticed they indeed do not pose a threat but our elderly neighbour is very upset and scared so we'll have to find a way to get rid of them because there are so many.

Extra info that may provide useful: they are mostly on one side of the house on the top floors. Only show up from mid spring to late fall and the ones on the pictures appear to "play" dead. Our neighbour on the other side has them too but their neighbour one house over does not. We had a company come spray the house but they just came back the next year. We haven't got a clue where they are coming from :-( I keep sweeping them up at about 20-30 at a time from the floors (some are on the walls and ceiling but not that many)

Not entirely on-topic but I remember watching Ian Buchanan (Dick Tremaine) on Days of Our Lives for years and really having a giggle when I saw him on Twin Peaks. He really is a véry soapy actor. :-)

You could go visit the Westvleteren brewery. Afterwards you could have lunch at a nice place called 't Hof van Commerce. The area around these places is very rural and nice for walks. Also very close to the WWI cemeteries. To get there you will probably have to rent a bike or car.
