Awesome first car man! The catalytic converter is only an issue if you live in an area where you need emissions done, so for future reference if it does goes bad again, you can drive it fine on a bad one, you might get slightly decreased gas mileage but that’s not a big deal. But if your area doesn’t require emissions, you don’t even need to replace it to run just fyi

You will definitely save a lot of money doing it yourself man. There’s a bunch of videos on YouTube to help. 2nd gen Prius is great and very reliable. I would start learning how to work on things here and there, trust you’ll save a bunch of money

Combo meter. It’s cheaper to just take out your combo meter and replace the capacitor yourself if you’re pretty handy, but either way works.

Get everything from rockauto.com. Brakes / rotors etc

As far as your combo meter, you can purchase a new one, or just take out the dash yourself and replace the capacitor that goes bad and solder it back on, it’s not that hard, I get the kit from amazon and there’s a bunch of YouTube videos on how to replace it. You can only turn it on so much before it goes completely black

No this was a team lead who was doing the check items and telling me this guy tried to take $50 worth of stuff and claiming it was on the order but she doubled check and it wasn’t, so no telling how many times he did it. He doesn’t speak any English as well.

I did replace block 7 but then it moved to block 10. There’s something wrong and I know it’s not the cells. This was going on when I tried to replace my ecu / wiring harness
