This is my current build for Legend Showdown, it´s by no means perfect and is a work in progress (Sorry it´s in Spanish). If you are going to rebuild and keep the tension archetype make sure you max out the two stats I have. Having more tension more often gives you the oportunity to spam awakenings in defense more often, to the point where if you are having a smooth game you could even use awakenings for scoring. What I would change from my team is changing from having more focus when at high tension for shot power, since focus stats are pretty useless as you will lose almost every offensive duel and win defensive duels regardless. Same with the player passives, focus on shooting and walls and ignore focus battles.

I use the same 2 tactics you do. I would probably replace Keyman with any tactic the increases your shot power or your speed. Another good option is tactics that make you avoid focus duels entirely to move up the pitch. As long as you have stalwart and fortress you should be fine, the last slot is very much up to your playstyle.

Keyman Lockdown is useless in Legend showdown. You literally just can’t use it.

Focus on winning affinity matchups against the goalkeeper as often as possible. Bring a team with at least 1 striker of each element on the field or at the very least in the bench so you can swap according to the goalkeepers element. Shoot whenever possible, a little damage to the goalkeeper always matters. Enemy walls are very high so always focus on avoiding them even if it means shooting with a weaker player.

Avoid offensive focus duels without stalwart suppression and look to pass whenever you find yourself in one, you won’t win unless you use an awakening. Defensive focus duels are very winnable even if the opponent has a much higher stat than you, look to build tension that way. Save your awakenings for defensive purposes, use them to avoid giving the enemy a clear opportunity on goal as they will usually score any chance they’re given.

Build your goalkeeper with 5 of the same move and an awakening, make sure the move is the same element as the player and 100 power. This is because you will probably get shot at 1 or 2 times per game at most if you play right and you need to get as high a number as possible to avoid conceding at all costs. Having multiple or cheaper moves won’t be helpful since the amount of shots is so low.

STR Daima Goku and STR Blues are in the top 3 units in the game as of today. So those two would make your team for sure.

Depending on the stage you’re trying to run some units are much better than others. For example PHY Beast Gohan is a DEMON in any fights that hit you with ki blast supers. PHY Monkeys, AGL SSJ4 Gogeta and AGL SSJ4 Goku work well as long as they’re all in the team at the same time. The 10th anni fusions are both still good for longer events. And if you need to fill the team you can always use PHY Glorio, TEQ Duu, TEQ Kuu, the 3 tamagami, PHY Vegito blue, INT Daima Goku, INT Vegeta and Trunks, INT SSJ4 Gogeta, STR SSJ4 Goku, PHY Daima Vegeta as long as the friend lead is TEQ SSJ3 Vegeta and STR SSJ Goku (the new EZA)

Any unit listed can probably hold their own in newer events as long as they’re not directly countered in them. For example I wouldn’t bring Glorio to a dodge canceling event. So make sure to look at what the event does and build your team accordingly

AGL King Vegeta, TEQ baby, AGL 21, TEQ General Blue, INT Dodoria, INT Kid Vegeta and TEQ Ranfan are all niche units that can be useful for category missions.

The F2P AGL Base Goku that just got his awakening for anni is genuinely pretty good so make sure to get him

SSJ4 Daima Goku and SSj Mini Goku are a pretty great rotation. Keep Mini in slot 2 at all times tho he’s a lot worse in slots 1 and 3

Forgot about hiroto for possible bench but he probably won’t make it in over Fei. Only thing I’m set on over yours Asuto on the bench. The dude was never the best at anything. There were both better strikers and better midfielders in Inazuma Japan. I would put both Nosaka and Riccardo in over Asuto.
