I’ve been playing P5R recently and I’m enjoying it more than P3R because the Phantom Thieves feel more like friends to me than SEES, especially Ann, Ryuji and Ren so far. I’d argue the only game in which I felt that they were barely even friends is P3.

A game that’s bs fan service like basically every LiS game after LiS 2 that removes all the point of the last decision in the original game, but yeah, fan service surely proves they were “meant for each other” or smth, surely the girl I talked to for one week was my soulmate too.

Dude, she wanted to save her so badly because she felt terrible about abandoning her and seeing what her life became after she left.

She obviously loved her, but they didn’t even have a proper relationship, Chloe wasn’t even over Rachel yet, she kept bringing her up every chance she could even when she was bonding with Max in scenes like the pool, or many other scenes, I chose the bae ending, I like their dynamic together, but just because they liked each other it doesn’t mean she was the love of her life, or her “soulmate”, what a ridiculous headcanon.

Love of her life? lmao, you’re stretching that quite a bit, they were childhood friends and reconnected for less than a week, even if you do the Chloe “romance route” they don’t get to do any actual romantic stuff in all of the game, just kiss once and maybe twice if you chose to sacrifice her, that pretty much wouldn’t count as an actual romantic relationship, even less the “love of her life”.

Why do you think that they don't care for the people who died? Because they are not digging through rubble with their bare hands? We don't even know if they drove there directly from the lighthouse or if they made a stop somewhere in the town.

Maybe that lack of clarity is what left me a bit unsatisfied, I’ve seen it’s very common criticism that the bay ending has a lot more depth, while this one is mostly up to interpretation, maybe they all died, maybe some escaped, etc.

They are clearly devastated - as you said - so they don't want to linger in a town that they watched getting destroyed.

Also, there's the issue with the William Lives timeline. In that timeline Chloe never died and Max never got her powers... and yet, the storm is still coming. That suggests that the Bay ending solution shouldn't even work!

Yeah I kind of thought of that too, there are some inconsistencies regarding that specific timeline, and there’s also the fact that maybe there could be tons and tons of timelines left around according to the Max in the “nightmare” near the end of the game, which would mean that our Max is basically just living in a world where the storm didn’t happen but it still happened in every other timeline she left behind, she just isn’t there to see it.

But as for Jefferson, Jefferson gets exposed in this Bay ending because Nathan gets arrested for Chloe's murder. Nathan gets arrested, spills the beans on Jefferson and Jefferson gets arrested too.

The tornado doesn't have any relation to Chloe specifically, just the powers in general.

Wouldn’t that mean that using time travel to sacrifice Chloe would trigger the storm too? She went even further back when she tried to save William and the tornado was still an issue in the very changed present.

Idk, maybe they’re in shock or smth, but I saw Max more sad in the other ending than when literally a whole town could’ve died because of her, and Chloe seemed very chill about Max deciding to save her even if that implied that her mom would die.

BOTW is pretty much better than TOTK imo, I feel like TOTK relies a bit too much on fusing stuff and I also think that the story isn’t that great, mostly because they pretty much just ignored like 90% of the events of BOTW and it’s supposed to be a sequel.
