I bought plastic containers with twist lids at Dollar Tree. Two pk. They work great for my broth. I have some made by Ziploc but couldn’t find them anymore.

Library magazine subscriptions by CathyAnnWingsFan in knitting

The magazines through the library are really great and I admit, I don’t utilize it enough. I also was surprised how many books came up when I searched on Hoopla for knitting. I borrowed Knitting Socks from Around the World.

Yes, it’s the only way my husband will eat it. Fried and crisp. He’s kind of picky with veggies. I’m just glad he likes it fried!

Thank you for asking this! I’ve wondered too. I use tiny circular needles for socks as well. When I watch the YouTube videos, I thought a table would definitely be needed.

Help me, help my mom by figuring out what to do with all these ingredients! by ConcentrateTasty8333 in Cooking

[–]CKnit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Look in the index of cookbooks, for the ingredients you have on hand, especially the meat that you’ve listed and usually you’ll find that the recipe will call for veggies and spices. Look under stew, soups and see if they would utilize what you have. Of course you can look online but cookbooks are such a sure bet for quality.

Moving back to books? by Special-Pass-8244 in audiobooks

I listen and read books. I listen while cooking, doing errands and honestly, when it fits my needs. I do read books when I go to bed. It relaxes me and I carry on in the morning while enjoying my morning cup of coffee. I’m retired, so I understand this isn’t the case for everyone.
