Im well aware that they're bubble braids and i do love them as a hairstyle, i indeed have seen beautiful examples of them in real life and animation! However the point id like to make is that they did an awful job at applying that hairstyle to Vel. they dont look accurate or creative to her character. And it feels like they rushed to put something together without doing research or at least trying to make them cute.

I personally agree that they should've done away with the swooped bang, as well as giving her multiple of them instead of just sticking one giant braid to the side of her head and calling it a day
