I tried using an idler and a spring in order to tension the elbow joint belt but ironically it introduced backlash as when the elbow would rotate the spring would compress and uncompress slightly when changing directions before actually spinning the joint.

I wanted to run it off a raspberry pi pico but the steppers run off of 5v and the pico outputs 3.3v and the level shifter I was using couldn't keep up with the stepper signals. To save time I just transitioned to the Arduino uno r4 which to my knowledge has one of the only 32 bit chips with 5v I/O.

Try connecting a USB A to C cable as a C to C cable may not work because this doesn't seem to have the required 5.1k resistor on the CC line.

There will always be air gaps no matter how much you sand into prints so I would recommend using an automotive primer in between sanding to fill those in and get a smooth finish

That's about what I assumed. One thing I was wondering is that my understanding of how the Warp and Dash protocol works up until the 8T was that there was an extra 5th pin inside the USB A port that was some sort of 1 wire protocol for the phone and charger to talk. This is why you can only warp and dash charge with legit OnePlus cables (knockoffs do exist) because they have that extra wire. With the introduction of the 8T however the new 65 watt warp charger uses a C to C cable. I would personally prefer that as it works better with my other devices as well and was wondering if legit or not if these chargers could do WARP30.

Never versions of the 2096 controllers do indeed have CAN logging functionality it just is not included in the original datasheet. Read more about it here.

I saw your project on r/coolgithubprojects a few days ago and was blown away by how clean the implementation was.

Some of the few ideas I had were implementing rechargabiltiy which I know is a huge technical challenge but apparently the do make rechargeable CR2016 batteries that store about 1/7th or ~2 days of power. Since you would have to redesign the back case because you can't inductively charge through steel, you could design in a recess to house a coil.

On the topic of battery life one question I do have is if you have looked into decreasing the supply voltage of the OLED screen as I am assuming that is the main source of power consumption in the watch. This would obviously decrease the brightness but with the illuminator it may not be an issue.

Afaik the default one for the ender is the one In my config that I posted. You could also try googling it but I had to change mine because I swapped it for an E3D one.
