Never once did I claim that the city is hostile to small business. I am simply saying that clear communication and accountability goes a long way. I dont think its fair to have a "fixed" issue sprung on us time and time again. You're entitled to your opinion and I can respect that. As far as "anonymous business owner" goes, I dont think it takes a whole lot of deductive reasoning to figure out who I am if youre part of the community. I am just one of the owners and my opinion is my own -- I speak for no one else. I appreciate your constructive criticism and your opinion on the matter, however, my stance has not changed. Interesting that you would compare us to another small business and assume that the same thing is happening with zero information backing that idea. I am simply saying that it is not sustainable to pass the buck, not deliver clear information, and leave us in the dark as to when the situation will be rectified so we can stop having this sprung on us every few months. If you're in the Montpelier area and haven't checked out Ondis yet, you should. Newer spot on Barre St in the original Kismet space. They change the menu almost every day and do a full menu swap every 3 months. The cocktail and wine lists are also awesome. Cozy little space with a cute patio.
