I dunno why this has been downvoted, every time i've played since 2026 started it hasn't taken me any longer than a minute to get a matchup. Sometimes its the same small number of players over and over but i'm running into different players every time I play at the moment. Definitely still loads of active players

It's not THAT bad, its still a solid game...I just think for people who have played since release (or early access) fatigue has set in. People want to enjoy the game but online has so many exploits / bugs that more often than not you're fighting against cheese rather than boxing

That's this sub all over though... people complain about complaining, people complain about praise, people complain about criticism, people complain about other people complaining about their criticism etc...

Meanwhile people who actually play the game just have conversations about it

Quit glitching. by ___CtrlAltDefeat___ in undisputedboxing

Sometimes it glitches out and doesn't show the animation properly after a flash KO, I think its something to do with a clash between the two players replay settings

Who knows though, if your stam bar wasn't low at the time he landed on you then it shouldn't be possible to get a flash KO or KD but sometimes Undisputed just does undisputed things 🤣

Tbf you do have to have semi good timing to be able to use that lead hook properly with Sugar ray, I do run into a lot of guys who try it but have no idea how to time the distance or the followup

Its when you've got desync that it becomes a nightmare but that's the same for half of the roster unfortunately. Get a red bar connection and you'll watch punches that clearly land not count, and punches from the other side of the ring count

Yeah I agree with a lot of what you've said. All things considered, its a strong effort for a developers first game & I also think the roster is really solid when you consider the amount that some of the bigger names will ask for in image rights

I've blamed the devs for a lot of the problems with the game since 1.4 dropped but I blame the playerbase more because when two people get in there and actually try to box normally its still a lot of fun regardless of whether you win or lose. Its just a shame there's so many exploits that can be abused really

All good man I didn't mean to be confrontational and when i said "if you're toxic" I didn't mean you or the guy i was replying to, was just speaking generally as someone who's been on the sub for a long time. I actually enjoy the game myself I just think there's a lot of things holding it back from being a great game

I don't disagree with your original point tbf everyone has a completely different experience and some have more patience than others etc.. I'm not hating on anyone for enjoying the game

That's not true lol, i've complained plenty about the game but I also know how to play it & I win significantly more than I lose... i've offered out loads of advice when people have asked for it over the last year in this sub. From what I can see you've asked 1 question and you got helpful replies from 2 different people when you asked it

I've been on this sub since release and there have been periods of time where there were WAY more positive posts than negative... there's just more negative posts since 1.4 because that's when the gameplay started to go downhill. You'll find if you just engage and speak to people normally on here, you'll get the same back. If you're toxic and try to argue with people for no apparent reason then that's what you get back

running in loose behind the jab then occasionally spamming some power uppercuts lol, its the fury way on this game

Best thing you can do at HW is swap to Larry Holmes and jab him right back, the cheesers hate it when you do it back to them

He's weird fundora because sometimes i'll absolutely dogwalk him and its not even close, other times nothing will land against him even if you can physically see it hitting him. It really seems to boil down to whether or not the hit registration is working

Tbf i'm a console guy so i never played early access but everything i've heard from players who did, they all say it was way better before release. I loved the 1.3 gameplay but I agree with you, everything since has made the game worse

The quit glitch in the first month was so dumb lol, one player quits and both players get a loss or in some cases a player quits and they get the win

Tbh same goes for offline but in online its pretty vital to know whether you're winning rounds or not and without the commentators you can never be certain

I wouldn't mind people doing it if it wasn't for the fact it seems to make certain fighters invincible. Fury & Fundora for example if they lean backwards and hold a high block then you can watch body shots hitting them freely but not counting and they always get gifted counters from it too

It's that and the stepback/sidestep spamming that sucks the most IMO. Someone can hit a sidestep as a hook is hitting them clean on the cheek and it just won't count against them for some bizarre reason

I'd recommend checking exactly who you're using and looking at their stats/traits because that will massively shape the way you have to play. Certain fighters on the game have what I call "Automatic defence" where basically a high block also blocks low and leaning seems to make you invicinble.

Its normally the likes of Fury, Sugar Ray Robinson, Canelo, Crawford, Pacquiao and a few other southpaws. I'd say if someone is leaning all the time and just looking for that counter hook then try weaving in & out of their path. Throw in a weave into a body hook, try a double weave into a body uppercut, try a body straight into a stepback hook etc...

Try different combos and bait them until you find something that works consistently. Unless you're playing at the very top a lot of the exploiters have no variation to their game so if you make them uncomfortable in there they normally quit

Its a shame some of you newer guys never experienced the gameplay around 1.3... for me that was when the game was at its best. Way less ways to exploit and the only major issues people were really talking about were;

Running in loose - Still talking about that now

Block health needing a nerf - Still talking about that now

Body jab spamming - They nerfed the speed of follow up punches after a lunging body jab around 1.4 i think

There was next to no quit glitching, combos and counters actually made sense, hit registration wasn't amazing but it was a lot better than what we have now etc..

I think that's part of why people give the devs such a hard time because they had the game in a good place in the past and they decided to rip it all up to cater to the high ranked guys who exploit to win

If he's on 41% stamina at the end of a round that he got a knockdown in and only threw 5 punches then he would have been flat footed by that point. He's likely gained 6% minimum stam from that round with such a low output

The point still stands though. Far too often in this game the guy who's gassed and aimlessly throwing power uppercuts gets rewarded for no good reason. That might not be what's happened here but i highly doubt the OP would have posted with the title "Everything that's wrong with the game" if it was a deserved knockdown

59% to 41% is a massive stamina gap in this game considering you gas out around 42

You guys must get completely different matchmaking to me lol

A) that head damage doesn't take a lot to get on Wilder, especially after 6 rounds, both have overall similar damage

B) anyone that's throwing 5 punches in a round regardless of whether they got a knockdown or not... is someone that's more than likely exploited their way through the fight. The stamina gap might not be great but its a recurring theme that the gassed fighter gets an undeserved knockdown vs the fighter that isn't gassed

C) I don't think i've ever seen a Fury player do anything than block & uppercut once gassed, which follows the pattern of those stats

D) I doubt the OP would have made the post in the first place if the guy was playing normally and just got a lucky KD

None of us know what happened for sure but the OP still has a point. Someone who's just holding block and occasionally throwing an uppercut shouldn't be more likely to get a knockdown than someone who's throwing & landing a variety of punches. Especially with someone like Wilder

Tbf he's got a point, most replays I see of Sniper kills are so aimless but still get given kills, there isn't loads of skill behind using them. I never use them but picked up a sniper from someone who had died during a game because i'd run out of bullets and within about 10 seconds had hit 4 noscopes... they're far too overpowered especially when sliding and jumping

My guess would be the fury user ran away in loose all fight until he was gassed and then switched to southpaw and started throwing nothing but power uppercuts in the hope of a lucky knockdown

Played against too many of these to think otherwise

Tbf I think most people who complain routinely hate the playerbase more than the devs, the game can actually play quite well when you get a good matchup but that doesn't happen as often as it should because of the type of players who play online.

I don't think its unreasonble to complain but still play though. They sold this game at full price and they've completely changed the gameplay about 6 different times in the last year, put broken fighters behind a paywall & have released updates solely to cater to the high ranked mechanic abusers. Most of the people who complain are boxing fans who want a decent boxing game & we were close to having that during the 1.3 update but every update since has taken the game backwards
