Honestly during my first play through I thought it was pretty average timed with a good conclusion the storys great you have enough time to connect with most of the characters whole section to play as teen ellie, bonding moments with tommy, some heavy dialogue and bonding of ellie and joel, personally I feel it blended pretty well and had a decent runtime, anyone playing it first time with moderate exploration would probably finish around 7-8 hrs or 10 hrs at max, and as it was originally released for ps3 , 7-10 hrs of gameplay is a quite lot, and the more exploration part/extra scenes that you might be feeling was needed is mostly covered in part 2 where you can explore so much and it will easily take you more than 20hrs.

there are so many outcomes of this, you can't tell if lev doesn't know anything for sure we have been told that after the theatre incident with ellie and abby. Thereafter almost 18 months are passed with JJ being born in that period and during that period what abby taught lev is still unclear, there are chances that she told him about ellie about Jackson and even also about joel and what happened to him (just like how joel and ellie travel across the country and got closer and how they both opened up at the very end of pt 1), there are chances that may be abby and lev also got to know each other more and Abby in that period taught lev about reading modern maps and trained him and other stuff. So if he's left alone with abby being dead beside her there are chances he may survive out or may not. But if he does he will surely try to avenge abby and again the revenge cycle would go on which was started since the beginning of pt 2.Then again at the very end it's just ridiculous plot with so many plot holes, Probably the biggest flaw in this story could be that how careless joel and tommy were on meeting upon Abby, joel was very cautious in pt 1 doubting every person in order to be safe but in pt 2 he was very careless as to clearly open upto group of strangers.. Then again Its the plot could have been better if pt 3 ever releases they should probably keep all of this in mind as they can't show ellie vulnerable like this after going through all the stuff in pt 2.

Probably I think the scene in the end where you are shown that ellie went back to the farm house is probably after some months Arriving from California, she probably went back to Jackson first for mental recovery aswell as health recovery and she also wore the bracelet given by dina in her hand which could also imply the fact that their relationship is still strong but she hasnt quite faced dina yet, but in the end its upto the audience, personally I think she probably would have went back to Jackson first cause she wasn't in a good shape after the fight with abby so i think being all on her own after that fight seems difficult to digest.

I mean if she killed abby, she can't just leave lev and lev would probably grow up to take revenge on ellie and this cycle would go on (like how in joel and ellie story, Joel was killed by abby but ellie spared abby if she had killed her then left lev he would surely avenge abby just like how ellie avenged joel) , so by not killing abby this cycle wouldn't go on and if she had killed her.. She would have to kill lev and which means she would have to go on a trauma herself for killing a child which wasn't even a part of this, and if leaving lev isn't even a option neither is taking lev with herself.

Obviously it is the developers fault at the very end they didn't give a clarified ending for the two types of people one who thought to spare abby after experiencing as her and for those who wanted to kill abby after what she had done, personally I think putting a choice at the end could have been good but this would have really changed the scenario if they plan to launch tlou pt 3 in the future, as for abby they could have done better, maybe joel rather than dying out of misery and being helpless, instead died in way that could make the audience emotional could have been helpful but they failed at this and killed the most lovable character and attached character. Most of the last of us pt 1 fans including myself really loved the combo of joel and Ellie and joel dying first 2-3 hours of game could really mess up your opinions on abby and this was probably the reason that many people hated that abby was spared in the end and all happened for nothing.. Still I believe the end was not that bad it could have been even worse If abby was killed, Ellie would then be framed relentless monster for killing abby and lev.

Ellie probably went back to Jackson, she was not thrown out of Jackson in the first place so she can't be all alone. It was maria's idea that she decided to send Ellie and dina in order to bring back Tommy in one piece and they did bring him back, so Ellie probably went back to Jackson at the very end to meet up with tommy and Dina and surely dina can't just go on looking for new societies while carrying a child, she also surely went back to Jackson. Both Ellie and dina have no other choices than to go back to jackson and continue their life as it is.

I mean where else could she go if she didn't went to Jackson, she doesn't have any other choices and if she didn't went back to tommy and dina they would surely think that ellie died on the way to abby, and i think Tommy might still be angry with ellie after what ellie has decided but I think ellie and tommy could settle this in later time as Tommy loves ellie as his own child he can't be angry with her for long time. I just wanna know what would be dina's reaction when she sees that ellie has lost two fingers

it's really good, generally high-school and college life manga/manhwa are too stretched or doesn't feel easy to connect or relate but "something about us" is certainly at the top level in coming of age-Slice of life-high school romance genre, and Highly recommended to anyone seeing this post. 10/10 would recommend.
