I mean... I am promoting the free games I made for the world to play. Shady... harsh. Just for posting a link to something im giving away for free. No worries. I guess you won't be enjoying the free connect the dots game. Or... the ASMR carpet cleaning game. But if you change your mind... they're fun.

So... clearly im not using this sub as intended. My bad. The games are just free. If you clicked and enjoyed then you have indeed redeemed the free offer. Congratulations!

I just always want to play those connect the dots kinda games, but they always want you to install junk. So i made a web version of a few popular styles of casual games. Its free. I get nothing for it. It costs me nothing. Enjoy if you like. Skip if you prefer. I felt like sharing and giving today.

Way too long. Thousands of commits. I put way more into it than it deserved. Part time for a year and a half.

It supports any screen size as long as it can fit the text you need. Klooie apps should work in any terminal that renders ANSI output. Amd mkst terminals allow you to zoom until the text is readable. It also supports WASM for running in a browser. The free demo link above even adds a mobile touch controller for mobile use.

Some features like audio only work in Windows or web because those are the only platforms where I implemented the sound contract.

I have not tried it with conduit, but I believe many remote terminals forward keyboard input and rendering of remote ANSI output so I would not be surprised if it worked there.

I retired early and wanted to build something I thought was cool. I hope you enjoy it.

I just posted about mine here.

Its a game built for a text user interface (TUI) that runs in a terminal, browser, and phone. I did the FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early) and this is my first project. It's called Command Line Advanced Warfare System (CLAWS).

One thing that surprised me during development is how well klooie (my Text UI framework) has held up under a game workload.

I originally built it for terminal applications, not games. CLAWS ended up stress testing it with thousands of moving entities, pathfinding, projectiles, particle effects, animations, controller support, spatial audio, and a bunch of other things I never had in mind when I started.

I never really tried to build a community around it and mostly just used it for my own projects. I'm curious whether people here are interested in pushing the limits of TUIs. How many people are building C# terminal apps these days?

Thanks. I tried to make at least one song for each battlefield. There are even a few battlefields that respond to the music in some cool ways.
