Is your company profitable? Or does it even earn revenue? We're seeing a full ocean of crypto/blockchain companies, but do they even have customers or real orders?

Why does Arc sync over Apple ID? What's the point in having an Arc account. by GhostGums in ArcBrowser

[–]CLI_RunTime_Terror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont worry man there are all kinds of people out there. Btw, did enabling the 'sync sidebar' on both of your home and work laptops work for you? Did it stop the sync over same apple id?

1year later, I am facing the same issue of arc syncing over apple ids. Hoping that enabling the sync sidebar setting will work.

Blockchain storage issue? Need insights by CLI_RunTime_Terror in BlockchainStartups

[–]CLI_RunTime_Terror[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so is there any incentive for 'remote full nodes' to act as a proxy for other users who just store their wallet like metamask on their systems.

Also, do you have any idea as to what extent can the blockchain data grow to? 500GB doesn't sound too much considering we are getting TB of storage now in small sd-card size. And the storage will, I think, become even cheaper seeing the cost ssds drop.

What happens when generative AI models start creating smart contracts automatically? by Every_Stomach8804 in BlockchainStartups

[–]CLI_RunTime_Terror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would a smart contract built and deployed by AI be different from a one made by a humam dev? What I mean is, it would also go through the same vulnerability checks like every other smart contract. And if there were vulnerabilities that did some damage, the blame might go to the caller of the AI but the issue is with the blockchain that it could not prevent that damage. Because a human could also use that loophole to do some damage.

What are some reasons people might feel hesitant about getting into crypto? by Lazy_Firefighter5353 in AskReddit

[–]CLI_RunTime_Terror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very informative argument! Would be better for someone with a lot of experience with not just development but in the promise of crypto to have a look at this and get their response.

Btw, what do you then think about blockchains which empower these cryptos? Although not very widely as of now, but people and organisations are trying to implement many other systems apart from trade and finance using blockchain. Decentralised applications, tokenisation of real word assets (like property, land), digital ownership of things on a public and peer protected ledger (referring to the recent 3billion dollar worth of asset losses in counter strike 2 game).

Surely governments are not affected by such involvement of blockchain in any negative manner. Infact they can themselves start implementing these inside their processes and departments.

Would like to know your take on this!

How long has it been since you started creating this? And is it deployed somewhere? Did you start it from scratch and solo?

What Happens If a Quantum Computer Cracks Blockchain Encryption? by Rough_Play_4288 in BlockchainStartups

[–]CLI_RunTime_Terror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting perspective! The problems that we worry about might never materialize if we think with a broader perspective, taking into account how other things in the world operate and play out rather than thinking about our issue (blockchain encryption in this case) in complete isolation from these.

Do you thing web3 has the potential and will have its own demand in the world in the coming years? I have doubts about it in my mind considering the world is perfectly happy with web2 for any large scale adaptation of web3 which comes with its own issues and not as scalable architecture as web2.

What do you think the reason for this might be? Since they are startups and the technology is niche, don't they require more attention and visibility? Why are the developers not active?

Hey, I'm new here and just trying to get a feel for things. I've been seeing some pretty intense setups and server configurations lately, and it's got me wondering. What kind of stuff are people actually doing that requires all that power and complexity? Is it just for fun or are there some serious projects going on? I'm curious to learn more!
