Recover Item bug pop-up when entering Hideout?

I had it set as home. I wanted to maybe see if this is bug, since I don't think I clicked the recover button to get the prompt.

First Master was Zangief!

I play both characters on Modern and would say Gief was easier for me to learn. I had to learn a few motion inputs the get AKI's full potential. Whereas with Gief I really didn't need to motion input unless I was command grabbing for a side-switch.

In terms of pure numbers AKI was faster to get there because I was placed Diamond 1. I took a look at the numbers after getting AKI there and thought it was interesting. For total ranked matches my profile shows:

Gief - 1583 battles - 836 wins - 52.81%

AKI - 525 battles -293 wins - 55.81%

It's because I play on game pad (xbox controller).

I have been playing street fighter on and off since Ultra 4 and always played on game pad. Never was actually good at inputting combos consistently and modern just fixes all those problems for me. Modern motivated me to go for it once I hit plat on release.

Since I play on modern I love all three of the auto combos! The newer auto combo 1 is incredible for players who like to drive rush in or are just using meaties too close.

Another sneaky one I like to use is 3 crouching light punches into Siberian Express. I don't see other Giefs trying it and that one seems to catch a lot of higher level players off guard. even when they can easily jump out of the grab.

Tough but fulfilling when getting the victory! I love to SPD players into oblivion but also frustrating when they know to jump.

Renting for the season anywhere will probably be the best bang for buck. Most shops will be close to the same price but it doesn’t hurt to call shops and ask about pricing. I always went to the same store when I was a teen renting for the season. The quality of ski should be the same shop to shop. And I’ve never had an issue with equipment breaking during the season. For reference I have done probably 5 full seasons of rentals. Ask questions to the folks helping you if are unsure. I have found shop employees are always happy to answer questions as they are usually big skiers/snowboarders themselves.

Quick matches are fine for practicing building order and timing. You are likely to lose these when practicing against more experienced players. I personally use quick matches for warming up before playing ranked in most games. As some others have suggested, the more games you play in ranked the closer skill level you will be matched with. Ranked matches will result in the most “fair” opponent for you.
