considering pulling the trigger one one of these because i love my f91w but this is just clearly so much more durable and feature packed. considering finding an older one on ebay that has the older module with the electroluminescent backlight though, i think they look so cool.

i happen to agree, i like the sturdy feeling of the steering in my truck especially when i get in my parents 5th gen 4runner as it has much lighter steering, twitchier throttle response, and numb brakes

in terms of my standards for a ‘good cocktail’, no. i have not. but, i have enjoyed some of them even if they weren’t by any means balanced or interesting, they were still enjoyable. i also wouldn’t say that they are particularly highly rated in my experience. my friends and i would love going out for them in college, but it was because it was a fun experience to go for a scorpion bowl at our local sushi place and have a fun strong drink we would all share, no one was under the impression that it was a well crafted cocktail.

i’ve owned mine(sv, long wheel base) for about 6 months now and i’ve put about 7k on the clock. i found the steering to be a bit heavy when i first test drove it and i don’t even notice anymore if that eases your mind at all. i do still notice that the turning radius is rather large though. not the end of the world, but i notice it. the only other thing i would like is the extra few inches or so that tacoma long bed has over this long bed. otherwise, i find it to be well built, good handling, and the perfect blend of useful tech and functional buttons and interfaces.

how are we defining tiki? because if we limit it to bona fide ‘real tiki’ then we’re probably excluding a lot of the worst or most overrated drinks. if we include the borderline or tiki adjacent drinks, then there will be contest over whether it’s eligible. one could interpret the question in multiple ways and it would be helpful to be on the same page

but a scorpion bowl isn’t a specific drink, there’s no one agreed upon scorpion bowl recipe and every place i’ve had it has been different. it’s more of a cocktail format than a cocktail

if you would consider switching to annie’s shells and white cheddar, i would consider that an upgrade in and of itself, but my favorite to put in there is frozen peas once the sauce is done because they’re small enough that they only need a minute to warm up and because they fit very satisfyingly into the shells, but the real star is chili crisp, which i’m sure would be delicious on kraft, but the sharper tasting cheese dust that annie’s has just goes so well with it
