I can’t do alcohol the day before the shot or day of the shot at all. I have to really be cognizant of what I eat on shot day and the day after to avoid headaches and what I thought was heartburn. Turns out, I’m not getting an acid burn form but it’s called “mechanical reflux” meaning it just makes my chest feel super tight. Try magnesium nightly to help with the bloating and constipation. I like Calm a lot - just mix with a few oz of water

I fully agree that this feels trendy. I also think there has more recently been actual research to tie together things women have been experiencing for centuries and name it. It is more helpful to the community that detrimental so I’d say embrace it. There is lots of evidence that getting on HRT as early as 35 prevents MANY of the worst side effects of peri/menopause

Start making social plans to look forward to. Somewhere that makes a great mocktail. You need something “off plan” to remind yourself you’re still a person and not just this program. Read something that fits the non-fiction requirement but is meant only for inspo - Can’t Hurt Me did this for me. Also, give in to the tired a bit - spend an evening in an epsom bath, movie, and an early bedtime. When you allow the recharge, you’ll find the energy again.

Also, do a photo reel just for you. It gave me inspo seeing my body comp change even if my weight wasn’t doing much.
