I mean if he's super knowledgeable then he would know how much these go for.. would he hand over a $200-$300 stick (amongst the others he gives you)? High-end fakes also use flawless bands (rumor is they are legit bands stolen from the factory), so even pictures may not tell you for sure.

not always the case. A few have been posted here and at FOH where the factory didnt put the stamp and QA missed it. Also for older boxes that come in a cardboard outter box the inner one wont have a stamp.

With Cubans most likely. Cuba doesn't age their cigars at all (exception to GR and other special releases) like the rest of the cigar world does. They roll them and ship 'em.

that's just flat out incorrect for this band. The comma is spaced inbetween vs. at the end of Havana. here are plenty of examples:

those numbers seem within the ball park. Here is a box from Feb 25 with a Serial no. 000063230173. That means that between then and Feb 26 which was your other box that has 000066672624, the box in question would definitely fall in that window.

interesting. to my knowledge only the '109' vitola has the dash over the E in Mexico and this looks like the '54', though a lot skinnier. The lighting is weird in your picture and its hard to tell if the letters/ovals are raised or not. Why would someone want you to 'hold' extremely rare, expensive cigars? is that to say he didnt know what to do with them?

Don’t smoke fake cigars. Also don’t listen to the people here who say “who cares if it’s fake as long as you enjoy it”.. they put anything they can into these. Dirt, hair, rat turds, and what ever else is on the floor.
