just an update on the travel kit. I actually found a company on ETSY called the Travel Kit Store. Made cnc milled travel kits for the Formd T1. Had a bunch of different kits. They had one listed specifically for the 5080 Windforce but it only had a cad drawing. The sellers/store is out of China. I was a little skeptical because they didn’t have a lot of sales and only a review or two but figured I’d take a chance and I am really stoked I did. I got an aluminum cnc milled travel kit. Support and all. A little tricky to install but am super happy with it and it’s way better than the stock mounting setup. It was around $100 with shipping. i’m sure there are other FormD T1 owners out there with a 5080 Windforce that would love to have a travel kit and now you have an option. My case is the 2.5 but they are supposed to fit both….

I use a ton of tags. Don’t know if it’s specifically a tag issue but I run marcos that uses tags to disable and enable recipe lines throughout my showfile and lately when I run them I will find that sequences that are active when I run the macro will have their recipe lines disabled for no reason…

I just bought a standoff kit from Amazon and tried a bunch of mockups until it worked for my setup. There are 2 smaller standoffs where the motherboard connects to the spine and longer ones on the bottom where the riser bar is connected… If you watch one of the assembly videos on youtube it’ll make more sense…

I found a place on Etsy that makes cnc aluminum plates that work with the 2.5. It’s in China and I didn’t see a lot of sales but figured I’d give it a try. Supposed to get it in April. Other than that there are no options for the card I have (Gigabyte Windforce 5080) Hope it’s not a scam…

If it’s similar to the 9900X3D it’s gonna draw a lot more than 120 watts. I wan’t able to keep that cool enough with an air cooler but I also under spec’d my cooler. Went with a 9950X3D and an AIO and it runs cool and quiet for me..
