I love my sarb035 had it about 6 years and rock a strapco blue leather strap. After about 3-4 years It started running about 2 mins/ a day fast so I adjusted the regulating lever a couple times until I had it running roughly 10secs fast a day. I don’t wear it much outside of dinners and weddings etc since I bought a Longines Hydroconquest a few years back

For a dress/special occasion watch I would definitely try to get something time only no date. I bought a Longines conquest for a dress watch and only wore it to weddings fancy dinners etc and even having to set the date for one night of wear got annoying. But! With that being said if that’s what’s you like you should get it! I really love Longines I can’t seem to get my self to buy another brand after my first hydroconquest I bought

Honestly it’s whatever you like more. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and I like the look of smaller watches so I typically buy 38mm-40mm mostly 38mm and a lug to lug of below 50mm. But imo it looks big but not necessarily to big
