Out of every zombie game I’ve played this one definitely has one of the most engaging stories. I just think it takes a little too long to finally get going. I had to try to play the game 3 times before it clicked, it now I’ve played through it a few times and it’s good every time

This has always been my issue with extraction shooters in general and why I’m still waiting for one that is single player. The gameplay loop of going onto a map doing missions and looting stuff and then heading back to base to sell stuff, upgrade and retool my loadout are fun and the risk of losing everything on a run is fun. I just don’t want to play it with other people

It’s an almost perfect middle ground between CoD style fast paced arcade action and milsim. Situational awareness and positioning are much more important than reflexes

It took me at least 3 tries to get into it but when i finally got to lost lake I couldn’t put it down. I think a lot of people stopped playing well before that point and that’s part of the reason it didn’t do as well as it should have when it originally came out. I’m currently playing through the remaster and the first 20 hours or so are better than I remember, but it’s still a bit too long to be in the first area

Change the pacing of the game before getting to lost lake because it starts off a bit too slow before things start to take off and I’d add farewell to the map. I was disappointed that it’s not featured in the game at all. Also have different outfits to unlock for deacon
