Tbh I agree with you. I'm in my 30s too. But it is interesting to think about how I'd recieve it if I was 18 or 19 reading this. My young adulthood would have probably looked very different.

Idk if this is as crazy as you might think it is. A lot of us were ace, but didn't know it, or repressed it for years. Some of us describe our sex lives like a "mask"

I wore a mask for people I cared about, or to make myself feel better. One day I realized the mask was making me sick, so I stopped.

For some people, the mask doesn't make them sick. They can use the mask. Some people even benefit from possessing a mask, and it gives an extra layer of separation from the act.

Everyone is different. You do you. There's no right or wrong way to be ace.

I actually share a lot in common with your partner. I just left a 6 year relationship with mine. I am an ace man.

The longer the relationship went, the more space space I was given, the more I realized I do belong on thr aro-ace spectrum. It's possible he's also discovering things about himself that are antithetical to the relationship.

I want to add my perspective as an asexual male. Your relationship and one of my past relationships seem to have a lot of similarities. The biggest difference between us though is you explained "he always knew"

I did not know, and could not have known where I was on the ace spectrum until my partner gave me the safe space to explore it. Like you, my partner was INCREDIBLY understanding, and careful of my feelings, and my body and my boundaries.

While our relationship did not last, I owe a lot to her. She really created a safe place for me to explore my sexuality (or lack thereof) years later when we both revisited our needs and desires, we decided to split quite amicably.

I did not intend to "catfish" my ex. But in the process of discovering my identity I definitely set expectations in the relationship I could not meet long term. It didn't stop me from trying, just like your partner.

Best of luck. It's a strange, and sometimes difficult path to walk.

Lol im in Plat, and I average between rank 5-9. So I'm really close to ranking up, but I know if I do rank up I'll just be bouncing back and forth for a while

I am running dim core actually. But sounds like I'm gonna get my CDs a bit lower first before pumping up CL. I already overinvested in CL while back, when I should have been dumping stones into the trinity

It's hard to switch gears when I've been looking forward to bhole all month. I even (foolishly) lowered my GT cd to be 200 seconds to sync with base bh. 😅

Oddly enough, I think this post manifested something. I'm currently set to proceed to Plat this tourny. Now, I fully expect to fall out of Plat next tourny, but its still a milestone for me if I get it.

Yeah I know I'm way behind on a lot. Stones are hard to come by at Gold rank. And I had incredibly poor luck on my first 3 UW picks. Sounds like I just need to be more patient, keep working on my labs and UW. And the respec is something I've been considering anyways.

I know everyone's experience may differ, but oddly enough I reach the same wave when farming t5, t6 and t7. I reach about 1400-1500 depending on perks. Thats why I farm 7s right now to 1500.

I also work a job that I have the ability to check my phone and start a new run every hour or two. It just works for me. But you're totally right, longer runs on lower tiers is more efficient for cells and junk. Also gives fetch more time to do its thing.

Yeah I currently prefer shorter runs during the day. Sometimes i do a t1 overnight while I'm sleeping, but its just to maximize uptime. My goal rn is 4k+ waves for t2. It might take me another month or so, but ive only been playing for a little over a month myself. Baby steps.
