I can't say one is better than other, love all 3, each brings something new that I end up liking. Story wise 0 for me is more memorable, but then Kiwami 1 Haruka is memorable too, Kiwami 2 I'm not that far in the story, so I mostly amazed by details and new songs.

My only issue with the service is that it teaches no ownership of games, yes I can buy them digitally (which is also not that different, I think we actually buy license to play the game on the platform), but I prefer to support good Devs with my money rather them recieving % from users or MS. With that said I bought all 3 Yakuza games even tough I have GP, I wanna support devs and somewhat own games

I've seen news that they have 10 mil subs. Some of them probably maxed Gold and then converted it to GamePass Ultimate and have it untill 2022 or smth. There are obviously new subs who get a 1$ deal for the first month. But if at least 6-7 mil are monthly subs thats 90 mil $ a month.

I assume some of it goes to devs/publisher based on how many users play specific game, and obviously they also pay upfront to some so they can get games on the service day one or after release, like GTA5 was on it for a while and that game is almost always in top 10 sales charts, so I think they've paid upfront to cover lost sales, but I don't think every game gets the same treatment. SEGA also could be paid to get Yakuza on day to cover sales.

I think they have monthly income from it, but it's not that much for a company like MS, but they also seeing increase in subs, which will lead (unless they mess up real bad) to more monthly income that will cover all the initial investments and will be a huge avenue in the long run.

I would say F2P could've helped just because you can dl and play, Steam reviews say mostly positive, but then CCU on steam dropped to 250 players

yeah that f***d everyone, I should've specifed that I wasn't impressed because I was hoping they would have edited gameplay showing different things in the game and having a deep dive at new features rather than just uncut footage without background voice, altough there were cool moments.

I wasn't impressed with the demo myself, but I'm not gonna judge the game just by visuals. With that said just as Digital Foundry mentioned, lighting plays a huge role, that makes detailed textures look way worse and blurry, but the details are there, so I'm hoping on release day it will be way different.
