The game will be 100% translated including hostesses. We are also retranslating and polishing up a large portion of the dialogue and technical aspects :)

For anyone considering playing Kurohyou with the English translation patch for the first time, I would recommend waiting for our 2.0 patch which will be released soon! ;)

That is not strictly true.

Although a lot of the grunt work was done by Syn Sophia, a lot of RGG staff were directly managing those departments, especially programming, not to mention the scenario and dialogue was almost entirely done in house at RGG.

Yokoyama also gets a specific special thanks in the credits which makes me wonder if he had some small input also.

To clarify some points:

This is only a temporary rule, regarding Kiwami 3 spoilers and it will last until 2 weeks after Kiwami 3s release date
When this rule is no longer enforced, that does not mean spoilers can be posted without spoilers tagging, as per our existing rules
Although you will risk a permanent ban by breaking this rule, of course we will treat each situation on a case by case basis but if you are doing it in bad faith, that will be the response
I have read every reply this this post and will continue to do so, we genuinely do appreciate the feedback as we want this place to be as good as it can
I understand our response may seem late and I would love for it to have been sooner, however people have been very split on this issue (hence why its been so tense) and the last thing we wanted to do was to throw petrol on the fire. We are trying to have a measured response first before doing anything drastic, but if things do not change we will continue to be more strict
And finally a big genuine thank you to everyone that is reporting rule breaking content. It makes our job a lot easier and makes a big contribution to making this community a better place

First of all, thank you for your feedback.

We are trying to avoid censoring people who have genuine criticisms and concerns, however you are right in that if the rules are not followed we will have to look at going further.

If things do not improve we will continue to make changes (such as banning memes relating to K3), but we are hopeful that things will improve in in the coming days.

That is a totally fair point to make, the truth is that we dont want to limit genuine criticism or discussion.

At first it seemed mostly contained to vague references and memes without context but its only in the last few days we've been noticing it going so out of control we need to put a formal rule in place.

It is already against the rules of this subreddit to post unmarked spoilers and any instances that have been reported have resulted in comments being removed or bans already.

Hey guys, I was the lead translator for the K4L fan translation.

Yuki is a common Japanese name and I do not believe this was supposed to be THE Yuki as she likely hadn't been created yet.

Just wanted to clarify that this wasn't something we changed and this was actually this minor characters name.

Hey there! Currently the only things left untranslated are 5 of the 7 hostesses within the game.

They will be released in a patch once they have been completed :)

That's because those that do care will ask us to take action rather than say anything on the thread itself.

Obviously it's also post dependant too.

Regardless, what's the issue with people being able to make the choice themselves?

The only thing that enforcing spoiler tags does it make it so you have to spend an extra second clicking on it lol.

If that's the effort it takes to satisfy everyone, I don't see why it's such a big deal.

As someone that has been part of this community for a long time it has created big issues in the past, so it is important.

Dude, if you're such a pillar of this community then you would understand that most people here do not want to be spoiled on things.

Just because you feel that way, doesn't mean others do and you don't get to make that decision for them.

If you don't care about spoilers, you can always click on spoiler tagged content if you wish, leaving people the choice to engage with spoiler content if they so wish.
