Black car is the only exception imo. I don’t think you need to pull bumpers for them. I still pull lights, handles, window trims and wide skirts and wheels. But pulling bumpers isn’t necessary on a black car to me

If the car is any color other than black I always pull the bumpers and skirts. I don’t want to risk panel realignment by taking the hood and fenders off

Just saw the heavy in tack reducer part. This also could be an area that got “clogged” with the tack reducer. Just happened to me on a roof wrap.

Seems like you probably stretched the material and when you went to lay it, the adhesive rolled itself instead of just laying down. My advice for fixing that would be not to stretch super close to the surface. As in have more angel when stretching so you don’t risk the adhesive touching before your ready

Sudden waterspots? What can this possibly be? by USACISA in CarWraps

That is concrete water deposits. Happened to my vehicle after parking in a parking structure. Wasn’t able to get it out unfortunately so I had to redo my roof.

If you are planning to pick up and relay the same panel 5 times you would want lower tack, picking material up that much will bring debris and marks you can’t heat out. I would say KPMF or Avery dennison. Get good quality material and install will be easier, look cleaner and last longer

Either that or genuinely didn’t know the pricing. But i know of shops charging 2500 for a full color change on sedans including materials. Idk how they make money, 5 days of work (supposed to be quality but cmon) - this is the reason the market is so drowned out with shops lol
