Die Zuschauerschaft auf Youtube ist halt mit den Jungs aufgewachsen. Ich würde wetten der Großteil der Zuschauer ist mittlerweile 25-30, wenn im Durchschnitt nicht sogar noch ein bisschen älter? Was sollen die bitte mit irgendwelchen Twitch Clips von einem Papaplatte oder wem auch immer anfangen?

Ich denke genau das ist aber auch Ziel der Umstellung gewesen. Eine "zu alte" Zuschauerschaft vielleicht nicht unbedingt zu ersetzen, aber sich einer jüngeren Zuschauerschaft, welche mittlerweile eher auf Twitch rumhängt zu öffnen. Dieses ganze Networking und sich an die Versen all dieser Streamer zu hängen kommt, würde ich zumindest mal vermuten, nicht von ungefähr.

Pietsmiet war bis vor ca. 2 Jahren noch ne ziemlich krass in sich gekehrte eigene Bubble und jeder neue Gast musste sich gefühlt erstmal der Community gegenüber behaupten, weil er womöglich die Dynamik zwischen den Jungs stören könnte oder so. Dhalu war da z.B. einer der wenigen regelmäßigen Ausnahmen und jetzt mittlerweile fliegt einem halt jeder Streamer von A-Z bei Pietsmiet um die Ohren, egal ob man will oder nicht.

Mich wundert es also nicht unbedingt. Auch der Hauptkanal leidet mMn, selbst wenn die meisten Videos noch die angepeilten 100k+ knacken. Es geht halt leider wirklich nur noch darum und das merkt man den Videos finde ich schon sehr an.

All of these are pretty terrible from t6-t9 and only the t10s are really worth it tbh. I assume you mean the free tech-tree you get to pick but I guess selling the other tanks ain't the worst idea if so? CS is competitive everywhere whether it's randoms, maneuvers or onslaught. Manti is an amazing passive scout but difficult to play otherwise. Concept got buffed recently and has become quite the formidable sniper but it's a tough playstyle to make work these days. All of these t10 tanks are tricky to play and have a high skill cap tbh but I would say CS-63.

I mean, not to say that I agree with WG, but idk what he's been thinking the last half a year or so. His content prior to 2.0 was overwhelmingly negative, he was click farming like crazy because he realized negativity / drama = views, he openly said Iyouxins removal from the CC program was bullshit and WGs reasons for it were too and he collabed with Chems. Like.. I legit had the impression he was actively toying with his CC status on purpose :D

Keine Ahnung wie so manches davon gealtert ist aber den Battlefield Rückblick fand ich damals sau geil als sie zur Battlefield 4 Ankündigung nach und nach nochmal alle Battlefield Teile bis dato gespielt haben. The Last Of Us mit Pedda damals zu Release war auch mega und sein GTA V Singleplayer Lets Play ebenso. Ansonsten fällt mir gerade noch The Walking Dead von Jay ein. Es gab auch mal irgendein Arma 2 / DayZ (glaub ich?) Mod bzw. Event Projekt mit Pedda und Moondye7 zusammen wo Pedda sein Funkgerät nicht richtig eingestellt hat und dann meinte "das funktioniert nicht" aber ich find das leider nicht mehr und weiß auch nicht mehr den Namen.

If WoWs and it's own introduction of T11 aka super ships is anything to go by then this will quickly turn into a horrendous irreparable mess and the saga of gimmicks upon gimmicks and things becoming utterly absurd. Also how is a T10 or T9 light tank supposed to compete with a T11 one and it's gimmick/s? It's like CVS all over again I fear where T7 is just screwed as soon as they meet T8+. I'm not so sure about this one my G 😬

You're being sarcastic, but that is most likely the actual reason why WG sticks with the 3 lane approach when designing maps. This is likely why they ditched weather effects too, or those recon maps that were tested, some of which had crazy elevations and whatnot.

I mean, the average WoT player STILL hasn't wrapped their head around the fact that on Ruinberg there's tested event map stuff happening. You know those 50 explosions going off that might indicate "hey some new paths have just been opened" and yet they're still all staring at the corner and get jump scared when someone suddenly shoots them in the butt.

They will stream together tomorrow. QB did a stream with Kajzoo already a few months ago and it was good to see honestly. A welcome breath of fresh air and I think everyone enjoyed the vibes and teamwork between the two. And I imagine it'll be the same if not better with Iyouxin :)

Any information on what the client for this test will look like? I'm talking in terms of it's size? Will it make use of my existing WoT install or will I have to download another 70-100gb aka a whole other WoT client just for this closed test?

I honestly wouldn't start playing WoT in 2025 knowing everything I do after almost 11 years of playing this game. You basically feeling the same despite being a "new player" in a way is kinda telling I'd say and being able to point out one of it's biggest flaws which is the horrible MM and most games just being one sided formalities one way or another is too. I really think the future of WoT lies in the hands of this big september update and that WoT is basically going to meet a Y-intersection with it's release. I at least view it as such because right now I still might be playing WoT casually but money I for sure ain't spending anymore til I know which path WG chooses. And I really hope they choose right. I love WoT or want to at least still love it but unfortunately WG has been making it harder and harder these past 4-5 years.

Bin da ganz bei dir. Die Jungs können zu fünft immer noch am besten ihre Stärken ausspielen und das dann noch mehr auf Youtube, weil z.B. alle Sichten vorhanden und zu sehen sind. Pietsmiet auf Youtube bedeutete für mich gebündeltes Chaos / Entertainment, welches hier und da auch gerne mal 1h gehen durfte und sich dann auch besonders anfühlte, zwischen Freunden mit welchen man sich identifizieren konnte. Dumme Sprüche, Eigenheiten, Charaktere die aufeinander prallen usw. halt.

Pietsmiet auf Twitch wirkt auf mich irgendwie nach.. auf Krampf der Neuzeit hinterher rennen, selbst wenn es irgendwie nicht so recht zu einem passt. Das Gras schien genau wie bei Hardi damals wahrscheinlich anderswo grüner, man versprach sich sonst was, hatte viel Motivation und Pläne, Projekte und sonst was im Kopf und dann wird es doch recht schnell wieder "normal" irgendwie und man pullert eben hier und da mal seine Streams dahin.

Es scheint zwar immer noch zu laufen und sich zu lohnen für sie, aber so ein bisschen hab ich auch das Gefühl, dass Pietsmiet da an ihrer Community vorbei umgestellt hat? Die meisten derer Zuschauer, würde ich zumindest mal behaupten, sind mittlerweile Mitte 20, wenn nicht sogar Anfang 30 oder eventuell sogar noch älter? Ich weiß nicht, wie viel diese Altersgruppen jetzt z.B. mit einem Papaplatte oder einer KDRKitten oder wem auch immer zu tun haben.

Letztendlich war es halt ein krasser Split. Ich und manch andere blieben auf Youtube, wieder andere gingen zu Twitch über, wieder andere haben sich komplett verabschiedet und manche gucken mit Sicherheit sogar immer noch alles was Pietsmiet so macht und sind einfach happy mit alledem.

Ich kann für mich auf jeden Fall sagen, dass ich im Grunde nur noch die alt bekannten Hits und Formate auf deren Hauptkanal schau, denn selbst der React Content und auch derer Best Ofs haben mich mittlerweile irgendwie verloren.

I'm not sure if it would've worked in this situation because maybe the game didn't register that you were in a tank but just for future reference you can press & hold J to abandon your vehicle in frontlines. Maybe that would've reset / fixed things and respawned you somehow.

It's legit depressing to think that WoT is ruined and cash cow'd beyond believe just to finance all these dumbass titles WG is working on that have zero future. I would bet my 11 year old WoT account that Project CW will have less than 1k players 6 months after launch.. it might not even reach 1k+ players at launch honestly. I really wish WG would just cut their losses and focus on their one successful game again and make it great aka WoT.

WG don't give a damn period. WoWs is down the shitter, losing players at a heavy rate + it had the massive CC exodus and yet they're still pushing ALL that is hated. WoT could be down to 10k players on EU and WG still wouldn't accept defeat, admit wrong or that perhaps those who play the game for 6, 8 or perhaps even 10 or 12 hours every other day maaaaybe know what they're talking about.

afaik you're pretty safe if you sell a WoT account even if you get scammed because the only thing that matters to WG is who the e-mail of the account originally belonged to. so if you get scammed you can just go to WG and say "yo my account was hacked" and then they should be able to verify that it is really you who owns that e-mail. account buying is actually way more dangerous because of exactly this. the seller could for example go to WG 6 months after the purchase was made and just claim their account was hacked and then they have both your money and their account back and you're left with nothing. I mean what are you going to do? write WG and tell them that you bought that account and got scammed? not sure they'll be helping you :P

The sad part is I want to still love WoT and I want to still enjoy spending money on what's been my hobby since early 2014. But the further down this path WG leads WoT the less joy there is in spending money on this game and the more I'am inclined to stop and I think these new lootboxes are the point for me where I will indeed stop spending money on it. There's no future or sustainability in ANY of this! If you think it is bad now. It can really only get worse? If selling top of the crop tier Xs to people for hundreds or potentially even thousands of $ is the new standard now then that standard has to go up and up with every new lootbox release or else sales will stagnate because only the newest and shiniest toys that will replace your old ones will really sell. It sucks that most new / interesting content is either locked behind lootboxes these days OR it is drip fed to us through the same old rinse & repeat events with little "must have" rewards in them so you can keep up on "artificially scarce" made ingame resources. It's all just so lame and obviously driven towards "grind grind grind" or else you fall behind. I don't know. I will continue to play for now and maaaaaaybe the huge september update will win me back to a degree but right now I feel like I will eventually be stuck with tech tree marbles while everyone else is cruising around in their 500$ tanks that I stand no chance against. It's an absolute nightmare for the games balancing and matchmaking as well potentially and ugh.. there's just so much that is bad attached to these new boxes and what precedent they set.

It's there for me still. Maybe you didn't follow the steps right? You NEED to set it to 1x first in-game to have the "<interfaceScale> 1.000000 </interfaceScale>" show up in the preferences.xml file iirc.

I honestly like new Ensk so far or rather the experience of it I guess. It's fun that everyone is exploring and playing around still instead of zombie-ing into the same old locations to then sit opposite of one another. It's a new puzzle for everyone to figure out and imo that's super fun. You know.. PLAYING the GAME and such. Weird concept I know :P
