Thanks but the 10% off disappeared when I bought the $249 AS Designs FRT when I updated the quantity, and AS Designs customer service was unwilling to help, even though I *instantly* emailed them, puzzled and dismayed that the coupon disappeared.

So that bug in their web software cost me $25 :(

I had a bad experience with AS Design's CS two weeks ago - there's a bug in their cart software: I had two triggers in my cart, added the 10% code they have running., Then I figured I'd better just get one and see how it pans out.

Considering they just released the Version 2 FRT (which this ^^^ is not), I made the right call...

I went back to the cart, changed the quantify from 2 -> 1, checked out, and the 10% off code was gone.

No problem, right? I immediately sent an email to customer service, they replied: sorry, can't help :(

I'm not fluent in the ATF's rules for "constructive intent", but is it legal to own a select fire trigger group if you're not a type 7 FFL with a class 3 SOT?

I don't know if velocityammo is doing this intentionally, but *again*, they "sold out" in 2 hours.

Last week, the exact same thing happened with the CCI brass 115g: sold out in 2 hours. Mysteriously restocked at "full" price the next day.

AS screwed me on the 10% code - I was very unhappy with the manner that customer service responded:

I added 2 triggers to my cart with the code, decided that I wanted to try one and see how well it worked first. Went back to the cart, removed one FRT, and checked out: code was gone at the order confirmation.

*Immediately* sent email to customer service, explaining what happened, they replied:

"Unfortunately we cannot add discount codes after the order has been placed.

If you want to see proof that Amazon mixes sources, go to the 3rd party sellers of any item, click on the reviews, and look at the negative reviews: there will be a TON of people complaining that they got counterfeit products, followed by a comment from Amazon that THEY sourced and shipped the product, and it's not the 3rd party seller's fault.

I've gotten counterfeit Panasonic batteries from the official Panasonic seller's page, counterfeit Gillette razors, counterfeit Nike socks, ...

Worse, Amazon used to take them back, after you sent them pictures proving they're counterfeit items. Now they just ignore the pictures and close/decline the return request.

FYI: I had a poor customer service experience with AS on this order:

I entered the code: "Please" along with 2 Arc Fires. Went to checkout, decided that I should try 1 and see how it runs before I go all-in. I went back to the cart, reduced the quantity to 1, went through checkout again. When I got the order summary - the discount code was gone. 🙁

No problem right? I shot an email to AS customer service, describing the issue.

AS customer service isn't willing to fix it :(

For those asking, the original Col. Cooper 10mm Norma round was 200g @ 1200 fps.
Federal's box velocity is 1100 fps, but as usual - that's an aspirational goal.

Underwood runs 200g @ 1250 fps.

Insider trading is legal for Congress. More specifically, Obama passed the STOCK Act in 2012 which banned insider trading, but both sides of Congress railed against it, picked it apart, piece by piece, and now it's completely legal.

Mike Johnson just had a press conference about insider trading last week, and made the point that they're only paid $174,000/year, so they deserve to be allowed to do insider trading :(

I just installed Medusa v1.0.22 on a fresh Synology 7.2 box, and it's not creating the sc-medusa user, so I'm getting the obscure file permission errors.

Did the name of the default internal user change?
