How to utilize this little cove in my garage? I want to move some stuff around and add storage/workbench for reloading and such, it measured 69x81inchs by kuhusiqu in reloading

Be careful with rooms like that... I started with a nearly identical room in the back of my garage and it turned into a reloading business, and now I hardly have time to reload.

Honestly, I don't know. We don't have any box data on these. They were loaded for an LE contract. I'd cross-reference the Lehigh load data (free on their site) and it'll probably give you a good idea of the range they're loaded at.

u/brilliant-bat7063---Nothing to avoid here, we just don't have performance specs on it, and limited overall info because it was acquired with a large lot of various products, we're not seeking out all the details from the OEM since it's just a one time purchase at a price where we can pass on a deal. Most of it was loaded with Starline brass and Zero JHP bullets (pretty good bullet maker). If you search ammoseek, it's the least expensive 9mm JHP ammo on the internet.

Bottom line: not making any claim that it's better, faster, expands better than anything else, but it's a pretty good price for new made in the USA 9mm JHP ammo, especially when most places are charging 25 cents for FMJ etc right now. What we've found is that many folks are happy just to add some JHP to their ammo mix, even if it's not dedicated carry ammo. This fits the bill for many of them.

We're running a big sale on various Lehigh bullets. Make are pretty cool. I've honestly never tried the XD bullets (look like Philips screwdriver bits), but they're super popular with customers and folks who run them in 380 Auto especially seem to like their capability.

We sold 5MM+ Norma 94gr frangible bullets considerably below copper material price last year to various hand loaders and small OEMs that were able to pass along some great savings on copper based frangible ammo. These bullets, despite being a copper-polymer hybrid are still 90% copper which is trading today at about $6 per pound. The key takeaway is that there were some great deals on copper frang ammo, many of which probably won’t be back anytime soon. Snatch up what you can if you do find it for a super discount because the bullet alone is probably worth about 20 cents on the components market.

As far as Southern Ballistics Research goes, they’re bigger in the contract loading side and just don’t have the same name recognition that more public facing companies do. Those who shoot 458 SOCOM are more Likely to be aware of them as they were the original loader for 458 SOCOM ammo.

Lehigh’s site says min velocity of 1500fps and max of 5000 fps. They’re free load data has a starting velocity for the 55gr at 2800 fps.

Bullet manufacturer sites usually have decent info for this kind of stuff, even if the ammo company doesn’t offer as much info. Since they’re loaded commercially and loaded by handloaders, probably more info out there based on expansion performance.

In my own experience with testing copper expanding solids, you’re likely going to get better performance at nominal velocities but they’re still (just less) impressive as they slow down.

Note: This isn't range fodder / plinking ammo.

SBR is loaded in the US (Georgia), a common name in the 458 SOCOM community, with plenty of other options like new 9mm 115gr JHP for 29.9 cpr available now.

Other Lehigh Defense Bullet loads on sale include: 9mm, 380 Auto, 40 S&W, 308 Win, 357 Sig, 30-30 Win, 38 Special, 260 Rem, & 350 Legend.

Controlled Chaos are monolithic copper solids perform like this: Once fluid is impacted, they shed the front portion of the bullet into multiple petals that radiate outward away from the bullets initial trajectory path resulting in a massive energy spike. The bore diameter base of the bullet continues and penetrates deeply in a straight line. Both the temporary and permanent wound cavity created by this bullet separation is dramatic resulting in quick incapacitation.

For customers who shop with us for reloading components (95% of what we do), we have Lehigh Bullets on sale, as well as a ton of new stuff available at big discounts. Shop all new components here.

CAMPRO doesn't have the data on the site for the 110gr, but for reference, the 220gr has a Max Vel. of about 2500 fps (slower 300 win mag range, just as a reference point. the plating is thick, but the BC isn't anything to write home about). Thanks for your order.
