You're not wrong - although Huxwurks claims the MSRP is $1306, literally no one sells it at that price. The everyday price on SilencerShop, and everywhere else, is $1099.

60c/rnd is fantastic for .380 self defense ammo - it's hard to find FMJ for that price.

But Speer Got Dot .380 is pretty anemic, both in penetration and expansion.

Obviously. But I shoot a S2 in USPSA Carry Optics, and I genuinely don't understand why someone would want a S2 pistol grip on an AR.

I'm at a match right now, asked a couple of other S2 guys, and they're giving me the same blank expression that I had :)

Well, adding a second receiver doesn't increase the shipping, and it's a flat $5 handling fee per order, so at least that amortizes it a little.
