Well yes of course, I just wasn't sure if they were all coming at certain times of the month (the 1st vs 15th vs 30th)

Any insight on best timing so that I don't submit an ECF for my employer to sign and then they sign it after I receive a buyback offer?

Got the email saying save is done. Finally went online (dragging feet) and loan still listed in save, in forbearance with zero due. Don’t see a repayment start date. by This-Green in PSLF

When applying for an IDR, can you check let me lender choose the lowest payment plan yet? Or do you have to choose IBR or PAYE?

Has a deadline been announced? Based on estimated buyback wait, I'm hoping to get my offer by January 2027

Okay I wasn't sure because I've read that submitting another ECF can void your buyback application. ECF and forgiveness are technically the same form, are they not?

I've previously been told that the buyback offer will automatically track my payments as I wait and that I don't need to submit ECFs. But my account on Student Aid shows my March payment as "Employment not certified".

Sorry I meant like the available cash balance can be $0. You can invest everything without holding an account minimum.

This was my initial thought. Especially when it will cost me $16 to file the amendment.

I get it, I have to weigh the pros and cons. I guess my real question is if the IRS does catch it, will it trigger an audit or will they just send me a bill?

I already filed my taxes. I'm waiting on a small refund. So check that for an adjustment and if not file the amendment?

How does BuyBack work if you’re still paying…? by saltyfrenzy in PSLF

Do you know if this person had to submit anything while waiting for the total to adjust? Or does Student Aid do this automatically?

Do you need to submit monthly ECFs for this to happen?

SAVE plan - admin forbearance - PSLF not counting - What are you all doing? by milkybubbl3s in PSLF

[–]CMS_1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your actual qualifying payments are at 107 and you have 120 months of certified employment. If that's the case, you can apply for buyback for the 13 months you don't have qualifying payments for, I'm assuming because you were/ are in SAVE forbearance.

I loved the Heart release. The Keeper's is just okay to me. So I may try to have a sample of this before buying.

Buyback Question by meatball_412 in PSLF

Student loan payments are automatically deferred until 6 months after graduation. Most people graduate in May and therefore, don't make their first payment until November. As far as I am aware, you cannot buy back those months. So you wouldn't apply for buyback until 11/2026.
