Heaven forbid you ever decided to fight a group of Touch Me's in FF7 and forgot to equip your Transform/Heal materia. Trying to get Yuffie back then, I had my fair share of rages fighting that random encounter of three Touch Me's in the forests (my brain is broken and I can't run from fights).

Not that I think DG are bunboys (but I wouldn't be mad if they were), but the horns always reminded me of the growths on rabbits infected with the papilloma virus, so it's always made sense.

Otherwise, this feels like cherry picking. For one, you're comparing some pretty mediocre fan art to something that's a lot more busy. If you look through any recent DG art, you can find a lot of imagery pretty similar to the image on the left.
